"He’s slotted in perfectly in the group. It’s great to have him. I’m obviously mates with him, so it’s good to have him, and he can also give me feedback on my side too. They’ve got a club now. I think they meet every morning at 6:30am in the gym – Ma’a and Jurenzo [Julius], Murray Koster and Litelihle Bester,"
The early sessions are a mix of physical and strategic training, with a focus on rugby fundamentals and game tactics. Nonu’s deep understanding of rugby dynamics is a goldmine for these young talents, preparing them for the rigors of professional play.

"He’s been good in that space. He’s helping the young guns a lot about attacking space, understanding space, and the most important thing is about preparation. How do you prepare before you arrive at the stadium? Are you coming with a plan, or if you don’t have a plan?"
Pietersen is optimistic that Nonu's mentorship will expedite the development of these promising players, enhancing their professional growth and impact on the field. The aim is clear: forge them into not merely competent, but exceptional, players as they progress in their careers.
