Hi Ruckers

We have increased the number of current threads from 30 to 70. We trust that the significant increase will give you more access to some of the older posts that you mayhave been searching for.

Some more updates will follow in the near future.

Have a great week.

Yours in rugga

Ed

 Thanks ED
PS. can you please install an automatic word deletion program that deletes: "[DELETED], [DELETED], [DELETED], [DELETED]....KBBS, etc." lol
Ha ha Ed. Now please do this for all posts from Beeno. This should cut his post down to size,  lol

Hi Ed,
How about introducing a keyword search for all threads/posts?
For example a blogger could enter the name of a player like "Jaco Taute", and it would then show all the posts that either contain the word (Jaco Taute) in the headline or/and the body.
As you run a Wordpress website, I have seen other WP sites that do this. Must be lots of plug-ins to do this.
Possibale Wordpress Plugins

This could allow us access to the archive of posts since the beginning of time, but just by creating a filter on a certain search time- like a player, coach, rugby team, competition etc, etc.
Also, could you make previously posted threads/posts to be non-editable?
We all like to catch each other out with what we have said in the past and how we contradict ourselves etc. .

yes Cloudy!! we all bullshit and it would be fun to see how people try to wriggle out of what they previously said when confronted with the evidence on the Ruckers court forum trial ...

Ed: it would be good if we had a button at the bottom that would allow us to return to the topic list. In this way if we have read the posts on a topic and don't want to post on it we can simply return to the topic list.
Cheers, mate

Great news ED!Sharkboks suggestion is very important as some oak s here need to learn about rugby and could always do the necessary Beeno posts search!
Please pay no attention to JW re removal of key words that do so much to swiftly bring clarity to things. His suggestion re that button has some merit.

Sharkbok has a point about editing posts. A time limit on editing a post works fine. You could have, let's say, an hour after you made a post to edit and rectify any mistake that you could have made, and after that it is game over.

No vlag, it is nice to do a running update for a post as new information becomes available. Just a time stamp for every edit will prevent posters from altering posts just to backtrack on what they said. I like the idea of having a thread where you can post a squad and just update it as things change.

DB: I agree. We need to be able to edit posts, e.g. when Sasuke San updates the S15 and RC teams, etc. Plus of course the list of posters on this site which you are maintaining.
