Good idea....might have to increase the limit on qualifying posts to say 20. Or even like T.rump not announce your rule to confuse these intrusive scummers er scammers.

the logic of the automated rule sounds good. Perhaps the algo could be tweaked to reduce the number of votes required- if they are made within say 10 minutes. This could allow the minimum number of posts to be lower.

Thanks for your input.
We've tried to keep the rules as simple as possible for now.
Your suggestion may be a good idea if spammers post more than 6 posts in quick succession.
Lets monitor it and see what the response is like.
As Ruckers is a bespoke development by our in house team, its fairly quick and pain free to make amendments.

Chippo have a look how many comments I made....I was hardly here long, maybe a day or so, but thanks for the welcome anyway. I am not sure if it was SArugby.com or ruckersforum I logged on to. This time around I googled rugby forum or something of the sort and landed up here. Either way, I found my way back.
Wardad I assume the number of posts dictates the status, so you'll notice I am working on getting them numbers up. The status can't be based on time of membership, otherwise I assume I'd already be something more than a ref. Beandork has left me alone so far. Is beendik another name for beandork? If so, he doesn't sound like a very popular chap .
