"You have got to draw the line somewhere"
Fully agreed
Not too long ago, there was a policeman in the USA who took the knee... just to keep the peace with some BLM supporters, but he said it was the hardest thing he ever had to do, because it went against every single thing that he ever believed in, regarding human rights, freedom of speech etc etc
When interviewed much later, this policeman said it had got so bad, that he could not sleep, because he hated the fact that he had capitulated, just to keep a group of people that he didn't even know.. happy.... so much so, that at one stage he even considered suicide because he believes he embarrassed himself by not standing up for his own personal beliefs, and he stated that he had lost his integrity by that specific single action of taking the knee and being subservient to someone or something else... and he believed he would never get his integrity back because he did not stay standing for what he truly believed in.
He said that one single action of his, has haunted him ever since.
You do at some point have to draw a line in the sand..... sometimes the circumstances of the situation leaves you with no other choice but to .
