I have read somewhere that he missed an easy catch or something.

He missed a run out at a crucial stage....Rossouw ran in to field the ball threw at the stumps with one bounce. De Kock tried to catch and knock down the stumps in one motion.....and missed the ball completely. He had enough time to simply catch the ball and take off the bails. Any school second team wicket keeper would be expected to pull that off. It was in the last 5 or so overs where the wicket would have been crucial.

Balls as per normal by the Two Village Idiots is De Kocjk, De Kock, De Kock.
That ball to De Kock from Rossouw bounced badly when it his the pitch and now suddenly the BS from Mozart. The commentator said the same - but Mozart the supreme village idiot knows better.
But then what happened in the De Villiers case - when Rossouw through the ball to De Villiers? Nothing said about that - village idiots?
What about Amla who was useless in the quarterfinal and the semi. The ball De Kock hit was equal to the one Amla hit in the quarterfinal - the difference is the Amla hit was against a weaker bowler than in the De Kock case.
They a re crazy and worse - the two village idiots.

Liar as per normal - why differ from the commentator? I think the prejudice is boiling over again and then the lies are unending.

Actually the reason he totally missed the ball is he tried to catch and sweep the wickets in one motion. He had more than enough time to catch the ball and break the wickets. One of the crucial mistakes that took us out of the WC.

To start questioning de Kock's performance with the gloves is laughable......he has been outstanding behind the stumps.....its easy to miss a bad bounce, two huge gloves or not.

A bad bounce....what a total loser you are Dave. Happy to make excuses for your favorites. The ball bounced well in front of him...he missed it with a panicky swipe at the wickets....period.

Yep it was a bad bounce........my point was more that de Kock was outstanding with the gloves all WC.....to question him in that department is laughable.

He did miss Barrett but so did Jean and Morne.......but if we believed you, it was down to JJ alone......therein lies the difference.....fact vs fiction

No I'm saying he missed a crucial run out opportunity. And flopped in every competitive situation with the bat.

There was zero match pressure in that innings and he was in free flow. The moment he faced Boult yesterday he was a deer in the headlights.

so beankop thinks Holding doesnt know anything about batting ? How do you think he got all those wickets dopey ,blind luck ? Having seen holding play I would think he knows rather more than you about the game .

De Kock has five 50's and 6 tons in 44 ODI's. His tons: 1 against Pakistan in UAE. 3 On the trot against India in SA. One against Sri Lanka, also in SA and one against Aus in Kangaroo Land. Yes, Holding is correct, he is crap! The simple fact is that he was undercooked coming back from injury straight into the CWC. Only experienced players can pull that off. The selectors let him and the team down by insisting on him playing and opening.
