  • Mumbai Indians bought the Cape Town team.
  •  Lucknow Super Giants owners got the Durban team.
  • The Gqeberha [formerly Port Elizabeth] team went to the owners of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
  •  the owners of Rajasthan Royals have got the team based in Paarl.
  • JSW Sports, the co-owners of Delhi Capitals, bought the Pretoria side.
  • Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited picked up the Johannesburg franchise.

Well with the Rand worth "S..T" it is not expensive for  Indian groups to corner the SA market as they have done.

England, Oz and NZ have great interest in their own cricket teams but are mostly shy for one or other reason to bid into a business enterprise like the IPL or this league. 

The IPL has been big hit since its inception so trust that this Saffa T20 League will follow that same path.

This can only assist SA cricket plus attract more talent into the game.

Mumbai Indians have bouth Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs on the books...rumor have it they will both play for the CT side...apparently the teams have nothing to do with the provincial franchises, but I'm yet to find a proper explanation of how this league will operate...was too busy to really look though.

I suspect that it will operate on the same basis as the IPL with overseas and domestic players auctioned and contracted. I also believe that the tournament will be free of Quota or Transformation mandates.
