Can’t wait for the NZ game; I reckon it’ll give the boys a huge boost of confidence if they pull off a win.

BB are you getting up for the game, it's at an inconvenient hour. I hate watching replays but I might have to.

The game against NZ will tell us a lot more about where the Proteas are at although there's a few positives they'll take into the game. The one big positive is that the top order is putting it together, Rickleton is in a better mental state than he was on his previous visit to India a few months ago. Our middle order with Stubbs and Miller look solid. Miller is showing strong leadership qualities.

Brevis needs to come to the party, he's just an innings away from gaining true form.

Our bowling attack is a worry, with Nortje struggling to take wickets and Rabada finding it hard to hit form. Maharaj’s performances seem to be improving, though. Bowling on slow Indian pitches with small fields and batsman-friendly boundaries requires a specific approach—get it wrong, and you’ll be punished. If it’s in the arc, it’s in the park.

The Super 8 groups are not very well balanced. On current form, group 1 (India, Windies, South Africa and one other) is way stronger than group 2 (England, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).

India, Windies and SA look the three best sides at the tournament and they're all in the same group.
