So, we are starting to up the ante.

The first round of sanctions failed, at least in the short term.

However round two of energy sanctions have been highly effective.
It stabilised global energy prices - and even reduced prices, all while ensuring Putin makes little profit...

Now America wants to end all trade with Russia, which would completely throw a spanner in the works.
Countries that buy G7 products are not allowed to re- sell them to Russia. The likes of India would like to mark up, but that needs to be stamped out.

Good, should have done it a year ago...plus they should start pumping Alaskan and Canadian oil...get crude back to under $45 a barrel and Putin will be broke by Christmas.

The G7 leadership will promise Biden they will do his bidding and then just ignore it by flushing it down the toilet and enhance negotiations with China - through which country their trade with Rusia will be co-ordnated.

Even if other countries sell Western technology to Russia, it will be with a considerable markup. Still, this needs to be ended.

Georgia and India have already been caught doing it

Refined oil sales have skyrocketed as India, Turkey and China are buying discounted unrefined oil from Russia, then processing it - and then re-selling to the West.
Once the oil goes through the refinery process, it is not possible to see what its origins are..
The Middle East is buying Russian oil for its own use, and then selling its own oil internationally.
Sure, Putin is not making much - but the West is still buying oil from Russia.
If the oil in Alaska pans out, the West can make its own oil - and just don't buy any oil from the 3 aforementioned countries.

On the upside, Russia is not making much money- and India and China are the benefactors.

Everyone has their price.

With a chance to make money irrespective of the product or service money always rules.

What a move.

For globalists'perspective, the Russian economy is too anchored in Asia and not enough  in what they call the western world.

Yet they would cut all ties from G7 to Russia.

At the moment, and following the COVID crisis that exposed countries, many countries around the world are enacted the conclusion they made years ago: they would be better off if they decouple from the West.

G7 cutting ties would work to that effect. So yeah, time will tell how much there is behind that announcement as it favours what the West has been trying to prevent by all means.
