Meanwhile, Russia destroys another civilian target on Ukraine's independence day. 

At least 22 people have been killed and 50 wounded in a Russian rocket strike on a Ukrainian railway station, as the country marked six months since Moscow’s invasion on a sombre independence day overshadowed by warnings of further “brutal” attacks.

Addressing the UN late on Wednesday, Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said the rockets struck a train in a station in the town of Chaplyne, about 145km (90 miles) west of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.

“Rescuers are working, but, unfortunately, the death toll could increase,” Zelenskiy said.

An 11-year-old child died in the attack, said Kirill Timoshenko, deputy head of Ukraine’s presidential administration, in a message on his Telegram channel.

Fuck, It's already 6 months into a war that never should have been...I srill can't understand it...it makesno sense...what has Russia to gain by this war?...Pitin must be insane...or there's something we don't know, but that doesn't make sense either.

Ukraine's resolve and commitment to fighting back has shocked the shit out of Putin by making this war last as long as it has, as well as being so successful in their many counterstrikes, and also preventing Russia from advancing so far into their territory...

Putin cannot back out now even if he wanted to, because he will be the laughing stock of the world

The only out that I see for Putin now, is by some kind of diplomatic talk or agreement..... and for it to come across to the rest of the world as Putin letting Ukraine "off the hook", so to speak, by agreeing to some mutually beneficial proposal
