I don't see any inconsistencies .... applauding disproportionate or poorly planned actions by Trump isn't required or needed at all, to recognize Iran as a major continuous ongoing world problem here.

I can still want the Iranian regime either weakend or taken out completely and still criticise any reckless execution of those actions to do that.... that could inevitably make things worse in the long term, whilst also acknowledging that I am also now making a very dangerous enemy for myself, which by choice I would'nt want, even if that choice was to start the war to begin with.
