As long as they insist on holding the world randsom... persistence.
Iran’s toll on ships going through international waters…
But hang on, that's exactly what they've been doing to little or no effect.
What do you think will be different this time? Bigger bombs? Softer targets?
.
Iran will never give up, so striking them would just amount to ethnic cleansing.
The art of the deal was played. He said that Iran's proposal was workable.
Whoever gives the peace terms wins, because by accepting the terms offered by Iran, it is basically a surrender.
Invading a country and then accepting its terms is a joke.
Iran has many nuclear facilities, mostly underground. So finding them is almost impossible.
In the meantime, Iran is probably developing a nuke.
It may even be possible that they will have a working nuke within months.
And how long will that take?
How long is a piece of string...
What do you think will be different this time? Bigger bombs? Softer targets?
I assume bigger bombs, yes
"I assume bigger bombs, yes"
I suspect one of the reasons Bozo was so quick to grab this ceasefire opportunity is because he was running out of bombs.
He does still have some very big bombs . . . bombs that could blow an entire civilization away. Are those the bombs you have in mind?
Occupying any Muslim country is a mistake, they aren’t persuadable. Declare Iran a rogue nation and as such one that has forfeited the right to a military. Take out any military activity from the air, reserve the right to inspect any imports at sea and embargo if necessary. Use ground force to secure a corridor of 50 miles around the Strait.
Continue that indefinitely.
MAGA must be the disposable ground force to achieve strategic global objectives. Then they must maintain the 50 square miles territory around the Straight. Their deaths will be honoured.
Iran would no longer be able to export oil, their primary source of income. The economy would collapse and drive the Arabs even further radical.
Even still, with Putin's upgraded Drones, they could travel more than 50 miles. Ukraine's drones can travel thousands of miles to strike any target within Russia. Ukraine has also hit moving targets - empty oil tankers returning from transit.
It is somewhat ironic... Generative AI has been developed in America - but Russia were the first to use AI in the battlefield against Ukraine by upgrading Iran's drones. America went into the battle not prepared for AI warfare. It has changed the complexion of the battle field. The I have a bigger gun than yours, is no longer the state of play.
Drones now account for 80% of Ukraine's casualties

You missed the string on the Bullfrog ….Drones can now be shot down for minimum cost using low tech, AI directed machine guns.
"You missed the string on the Bullfrog ….Drones can now be shot down for minimum cost using low tech, AI directed machine guns."
That's still theory. It hasn't been proven and, if it has, why aren't they using them already?
It’s in between, a recent development that hasn’t been deployed yet but is working flawlessly in tests. One of the military benefits of this US exposure to drones is the counter measure will be found and rebalance the battlefield. Unfortunately it may not be good for the Ukraine
Ukraine where shooting down drowns with truck mounted machines guns at the start of the war, then Russia started using drones that where faster and travelled much higher but dropping virtually straight down on the target effectively by passing machine gun defences.
There is the also the issue of the sheer number of drones. In terms of the small drones Russia and Ukraine are making 4-5 million of them a year. That's not included the larger Shahed drones, Russia launch something like 33,000 of them at Ukraine alone last year. Though in recent developments Ukraine has started to fire more drones into Russia than Russia is firing into Ukraine.
I'm sure like every weapons system another system will be developed to counter it. But it takes times to develop, mass produce and deploy them and then a learning period to figure out how to best use them.
And the US military isn’t aware of that development….but you are? A bit arrogant. The change is the machine guns are now AI controlled, there is no human interface.
It’s quite possible drones will evolve as well but Iranian drones are flying at 115 mph and the fastest drones fly at 400 mph….machine gun bullets have a muzzle velocity of 2000 plus mph and a terminal velocity of 120mph. What that means is they are way faster than drones for much of their flight. And a single gun can fire up to 100 rounds per second.
AI now provides instant targeting of drones, no lag and within a certain range they are sitting ducks. The issue becomes coverage, but high value installations can be covered.
Effectively you were out of date, but now you are schooled
". . . but now you are schooled"
Just when I thought we were having a civil discussion, Mozart's obsessive one-upmanship gets the better of him again.
Pathetic.
Trump: Iran has 'no cards' at the negotiation table
Donald Trump has taken yet another swing at Iran before the countries meet at the negotiation table over the weekend.
"The Iranians don’t seem to realize they have no cards, other than a short term extortion of the World by using International Waterways," he said on his Truth Social platform.
"The only reason they are alive today is to negotiate!"
Just a minute beforehand, Trump had posted a different message, saying Iran was better at "public relations" than "fighting".
Nice weekend for J.D.Trans in Pakistan with the Iranian negotiators. Maybe they will abduct him as a trophy.
So Rooinek we are supposed to see the humor in the posts slagging off Melania Trump after a clearly from the heart address. But if I say ‘schooled’ to Anger, a claim he has made to me many times in various ways, it’s every man to the pumps?
You have a very selective sense of decorum.
Melanoma Trump is a public figure and besides, she'll never read my post.
Stav is a fellow poster and someone you've interacted with every day for years.
Spot the difference.

We've come to accept that his statements change daily. Apparently, it's what he's good at—chaos keeps the opposition on their toes.
For example, we’ve won the war and wiped out their nuclear capability...LOL
