By far the best Secretary of State for the US in my lifetime.

...would be a great president.

Rubio is what I would of called a standard Republican and an actual politician and one of the more competent people in Trump's administration. I suspect he doesn't agree and is embarrassed with a lot of what's gone on in Trump's second term. Particularly the war between Russia-Ukraine I suspect he's the one the most sympathetic towards Ukraine in the Trump cabinet.

Nevertheless he threw in his lot with Trump's which tells me that he's willing to put his ideals aside if it will advanced his career.

His speech at Munich, well it was a much more polite and less offensive version of JD's bucket of cold sick speech that we got last year, was basically a plug for Europe to join Trump's vision of the future. Europe was like thanks but no thanks.

How times have changed.

Trumpanzees now love Rubio.

I used to like Rubio . . . back in 2016 when he was campaigning against Bozo . . .

Now I think he's just another gutless suck-up.

Interesting how persepectives change.

Rubio is certainly the most sane politician in the Trump administration.

I did not like the contents of much of his speech. Isuppose he does have to follow the orders of Trump.

I see Trump never sent J.D. Trans this time who is the voice of Big Tech.

So Draad, if I understand correctly, you didn't like Bozo in 2016 but you've grown to love him in the last 10 years?

That sounds almost unbelievable to me but hey, who am I to judge?

I thought his candidateship was a joke, until he proved otherwise...I hated The Apprentice...never watched it, but the adds made me cringe...

The debates with Jeb Bush and Hillary were helerious and most of his policies were solid...the way the establishment went after him was telling...

As for his second term... he's got the world moving in the right direction...and he gave the ANC the finger...watching Cyril squirm in his chair was the best television of my life ...he has done more for me personally than any other president in my life, Saffa leaders included...

As for Rubio...he is serving his country and the world well...pity he's not VP, but probably better suited for the role he's in now..much more influential..suck-up my arse.

His entire cabinet are suck-ups ... after his first term of, 'no sir, you can't do that sir' he knew exactly who was needed this term.

They're are all suck-ups & fortunately Rubio's an intelligent suck-up, but ffs., the rest are beyond woeful.

Sucking sad .

You must be talking about the Autopen Presidency uner Biden here. Biden and co sold out the interests of the USA and allies for the highest bribes offered,

His entire cabinet are suck-ups ... after his first term of, 'no sir, you can't do that sir' he knew exactly who was needed this term.

The Tbrump cabinet are intelligent and competent people - not the the unprincipled lyibng shit that was part of the Autopen Regime. They did more shit to the USA and its allie than would take a generation to repair, Nobody in leadership positions worldwide respected Biden - those who does not repect Trump is afraid of him because what he said he will do will happen.

Europe and Australia float towards China. In the meantime Xi purges his military to have total control. All slightly independent generals are gone.

But Trump is the dictator and Chinese cars flood into Europe.

The implication of this article is that America is on the wrong course. But it’s Europe that’s on the wrong course again, Two world wars started in Europe and here they are embracing another super power led by a dictator, while the last dictator they embraced is destroying the Ukraine.

Xi isn't putting tariffs on Europe or Australia, isn't insulting them and isn't threatening to take over Greenland.

Ah yes the complete denial of reality and inability to link consequences to one's action. Europe isn't embracing China, but it needs to have a pragmatic relationship with China while keeping it's eye's open, partly because China has become too powerful to ignore but more significantly America has shown it can't be trusted and that is solely on Trump. And while your at, nice one ignoring that Canada, most of South America, most of Africa and most of Asia also pivoted away from the US too.

But yeah randomly bring up World War II as if that has anything to do with the modern day situation and ignore the fact that Trump is actively trying to embrace the dictator that's presently trying to destroy Ukraine.
