ButtPlug, I'd appreciate your input here. I'm in a whatsapp debate about the greatest ever movie endings. So far we've got 6th Sense, Thelma and Louise, Shawshank Redemption, Inception, Fracture and No Country For Old Men. I'm saying the "I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd" scene that ended Pulp Fiction. Any obvious ones we're missing? Breathless got a mention as did Apocalypse Now.
Movie endings . . .
We then started debating actors who stole movies. You know, like Joe Pesci stole Goodfellas or Michael Madsen stole Reservoir Dogs or Will Ferrell stole Wedding Crashers. A lesser known smaller part who made the movie great. Dennis Hopper in True Romance an example, or almost any Christopher Walken movie.
How about Alan Arkin in Little Miss Sunshine or Alan Ford (Bricktop) in Snatch?
My pick, John Goodman stealing The Big Lebowski.
Yours?
The above not aimed at ButtPlug alone. Anyone else with can didates for best movie ending or actor/actress who stole a movie?
Just thought of a good one . . . Juliet Lewis in Due Date. Very funny well-directed movie.

El CID.
Butch Cassidy & the S.K.
Al Pacino's yelling at the end of "Scent of a Woman" was a pretty good ending...but "6th Sense" was probably better.
Both Jack Nicholson's and Heath Led ger's "Joker" performances in their Batman movies were good.
ButtPlug Baggin's appearance at the end of the Lord of the Rings, and the Hobbit.
No Country for old Men
'if i dont come back tell my mother that i love her
but your mother's dead
then i guess i'll tell her myself '.
Something closer to reality...a real life story of author Norman Maclean.
...now for the most hated big movie thread...I absolutely hated Titanic....
o ja and the "Mars Attacks" had a hilarious ending...Slim Whitman lol

Most Guy Richie films have good endings
Just watched the newly released.... "Guy Richie's The Covenant"
2 hours long.... brilliant
I thought Guy Ritchie went off the boil after "Lock Stock" and "Snatch".
"Swept Away" was a shocker, "Revolver" and "RocknRolla" were both okay but not in the same league as his first two and the Shelock Holmes movies were meh at best.
Didn't know he had a new one out. Will look for it.
Just to add, the ending to Lock Stock was really funny . . . that scene when he was about to drop the expensive shotgun and the guys were trying to phone him to tell him what it was worth but he couldn't answer the phone without dropping it.
The newest movie really hits home regarding how many Afghan interpreters were actually left behind when the US pulled out....
Superb movie ... written and directed by Guy Ritchie
Without doubt an Italian moving capturing the history (in the late 60's early 70's) showing the cruel acts that the African continent had to endure for and from the locals.
"Goodby Africa" if I'm not mistaken.
No actors just the savage so called locals doing what they do best.
Addio Africa
