Americans are faced with the following choice – continue to follow the government mandated lock down while watching their life savings erode (based on faulty projections and models regarding the China coronavirus) – or get back to work.

In the movie the Matrix, the lead character, Neo, is faced with the stark reality – that we are all slaves.  But Neo is given an opportunity.  He is given a choice between taking a red pill or the blue pill.  The red pill will allow Neo to the ability

After this there is no turning back.  You take the blue pill, your story ends.  You wake up in bed and believe whatever you want to.

You take the red pill and you stay in wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.  Remember, all I’m offering is the truth.”

At the site Unconstrained Analytics, the Matrix is explained and today’s reaction to the China coronavirus as well:

Real science neither requires nor asks for assent. In contrast, pseudo-sciences, demand obedience to the narratives they propagate — even when these narratives conflict with hard science.

It’s time for America to wake up and look at the real numbers behind the China coronavirus.  If we are truly experiencing a “historic” pandemic with unprecedented deaths then this should be obvious in the data.  We should see our total deaths for the first four months of 2020 greatly exceed the previous years’ numbers  where there was no pandemic, but this is not the case.

The CDC website indicates U.S. death totals for 2015 through 2020 for the first four months of the year average (Jan – Apr) to be at 921,603.  This year the total deaths during this period were 944,251 which is slightly more than average but slightly less than the number of deaths in 2017:

We know that 99% of all COVID deaths are related to individuals with more than one other comorbidity (i.e. the individuals had cancer or some other medical condition).  We also know that the majority of COVID deaths are those people over age 70.

Children are virtually free from any risk of death from the China coronavirus.  Healthy individuals under the age of 65 are also at very low risk.

When looking at the data it is difficult to understand why the US (and the world for that matter) would close down their economies for this virus. The economies stayed open in 2017 and the number of deaths were greater.

Americans need to take the red pill.  It’s time to wake up and see that we were lied to and continue to be lied to.  The current response to the coronavirus is madness.  Liberty is at stake.

There's nothing wrong with dying...people die every day. The world is overpopulated anyway, a few extra deaths won't be a bad thing - the contrary actually.

Why is everyone suddenly so scared of dying? Why are we destroying our civilization to save a few people who would probably have died anyway over the next couple of years?

It is old people that are being protected. It is ironic, as they seem to be ones complaining about lockdown the most.
Africa is a different story than first world countries, as African governments are just using this as a new opportunity to loot what is left - such as pensions.

That suggests that so far the 2018 flu, which was the worst in 40 yers,  had a bigger effect than Covid . But I’m sure it’s effects were more evenly spread. Covid N.Y. has clearly been a major event.

But people in the sun belt should probably never have been locked down.

All that need to be said is older people must be careful and avoid contact that could lead to transmission of the virus,   I was screened - negative.  May not be good news for some of you. LOL

They say the virus does not discriminate, but who knows the one in SA might be pretentious and more selective who it mixes with.

The elderly and vulnerable can be protected without shutting down the world economy.

The only way the elderly will be protected is if herd immunity is built.

G overnor Cuomo said that 66% of deaths are in houses were people were in lock down.

So locking down the old and infirm is no guarantee of safety. What will make every one much much safer is herd immunity.

To achieve that those under 65 with no morbidities must go to work and children to school etc to build herd immunity as they are at ridiculously low risk.

Someone please explain this to our retard sharktwit.

Even the very globalist Financial Times has an article today which favored the Swedish approach.....if they had protected their  nursing homes this  approach could now have real momentum.

As one bright old German said....how much would it have cost to ‘harden’ the nursing homes. Pay staff double time to not go back into the community, but have a genuine lockdown for the vulnerable.

The strategic planning has been amateurish.....almost everywhere. Don’t leave the strategy to doctors....they are micro thinkers.

So the old (Beeno) wants people to build herd immunity while he sits safely in isolation...So the younger generation should take the risk, albeit it is lower than retired people.

Nurses that have had heavy exposure to the Coronavirus have a high death rate. The NHS is under a gag order so they are not disclosing how many have died. Nurses in their 30's, 40's. There are still lots of unknowns. People that are in their 50's and 60's - before retirement are statically still unsafe- especially if the virus R ratio gets out of hand.
So much has been learnt in the last 6 weeks. The lockdown has been a success in that regard. Also, Europe has invented the anti-body test during this time- which can prove who has had it already, which can help signific antly for national health systems to see which medical staff are now immune and safe. Also for people in other professions returning to work in the knowledge that they are safe.
All along Beeno, the pig was thinking about himself...

Well we have 3 doctors in the immediate family and it’s an obvious concern. Viral load does seem to play some role. That said they are not at risk if people are in their homes with mild flu like symptoms as is the case for almost all people under 50.
The risk comes predominantly from older people  at hospital. So protect the doctors with the best equipment, harden the nursing homes and build herd immunity in the not at risk, which will protect everybody in future.
There will always be ‘anecdotal’ cases of younger people who die...but these are rare exceptions and we can’t build a no risk society. When we were kids polio was a horrible reality for children, but we were told to get on with life.
This cotton wool society won’t make us any safer.
