I hope the oaks are learning not to trust that Globalist deceiver Mozzzzquito about politics and the deadly jabs, bogus views on Rassie etc.

Hope this puts and end to his nonsense about DeSantis.

Trump the strongest.

Perhaps the strongest, but whether he's the best for the long term isn't certain. They'd probably prefer to win with De Santos type since it'll be much harder to build rhetoric against him. Whereas with Trump they can simply ripe up the wokies with old steam again. Use this board as an example. Between Trump and De Santos, you'll find the usual suspects have a much harder time finding anger for De Santis than Trump.

True but irrespective of who gets the nod the "Lefties" and their Media cronies will fabricate yet more issues to cast doubt on whoever it is.

Unfortunately Trump is snowed under with numerous issues that detract from the positives.

Hopefully he will be able to clear the hurdles in time to gain the nomination.

And the Biden team are happy to see this poll. If  Trump is the candidate, they get the Dems riled up and they win, because there are more of them.

The path to victory is having the soft Dems and independents  sour on their candidate and find a Republican alternative acceptable, or more likely simply don’t bother to vote. If Trump is the candidate they bother to vote.

Biden has already done his part, nobody wants him. Now the trick is to be sure the Republicans don’t pick somebody the soft Dems  want even less..  Trump.

That’s the trouble with these ultra right wing sites HasBeen believes, they are controlled by morons. But every time you read this stuff HasBeen, remember there are more Dems than Republicans. The Dems can win appealing to their base, the Republicans can’t.

I take it that’s an attempted gotcha?

In 2016 Trump, while well known, was not as clearly defined. And Hillary was massively disliked.

Through the disastrous last year of Trump’s presidency, his performance in the Covid briefings, his non presidential behaviour in the first debate and his poor loser tactics,…defined him very negatively.

The Dems have a treasure trove of material to use against him.

His only chance would be in a true national crisis of a geo political nature eg if China directly threatens Taiwan.

I was a strong Trump supporter, but disappointed that he couldn’t stay focused during the election. I would still take him over Biden or any known Dem. My concern is he is not electable, even though he looks a shoo-in for the Republican nomination.

A better answer is a moderate Republican in his 50s, who has a shot of going two terms, Biden is a very weak President, so the Republicans should be aiming to lock up the presidency for eight years.

De Santis was the best Governor  through Covid and Florida has benefitted from it. He is a former military officer, went to Yale and has a Harvard Law Degree. Not a stupid man.

But at 44 he is verging on too young, perhaps best suited to be the VP candidate. Trump can only serve one more term….so it would be a perfect team if the Donald hadn’t  been so petulant and frankly immature.

De Santis is a much better option than Trump. Some of his woke dialogue is just to appeal to the Trump base- the white working class.

He seems like someone who would build a good team and think through decisions. He is also a real conservative - which Trump is not.

If Trump wins again, it will be people like Bobart and Marjorie Taylor Green in key positions.

I would favor Trump as Presidential candidate and De Santis as VP candidate.    I agree with Mozart on that one.   Trump has some problems in his reputation - normally abased n lied by the Democrats - but the media is dealing with brainwashing against him.   With De Santis as VP and potential successor  - the Democrats will lose the election.

The USA will self-destruct with another  WH occupant controlled by the ultra-rich.

The last election exposed the extent of the voter suppression strategy. Means to enact it were strengthened up.

So nothing.
