“Still waiting for you to pay your respects seeing you don't have a problem with it.” As soon as you have listed McCain’s many heroics without the help of the internet.

Actually Obama inherited the very best thing ......the bottom of the cycle. From there, despite his very best efforts....the economy improved. The major programme to resolve the Great Recession......Quantitative Easing.....was put in place before Obama took office. As was the principle of bailing out the banks and insurance companies. All that Obama's policies did was ensure the slowest recovery from a recession in recent memory.....which is why it has lasted so long, and accelerated as the Trump team stopped some of the excesses. Accelerated at the point that history would have anticipated it's conclusion. To suggest Obama did anything to help economic activity is hilarious.

'Sen. McCain was already turning his sights to Iraq just days after 9/11, and he became a leading supporter of an invasion and occupation of (Iraq).'......Obama.

Trump is Prez, McCain is not. McCain ran on repealing Obamacare,  but when he got the chance to do so, he chose to be the veto vote. He was a warmonger of note...and he wrote the invites to his own funeral...one could see it as spitefull from the grave...but he stood by his convictions at least.

He was against the ouster of Mohamed Morsi, the move that saved Egypt. McCain was on the wrong side of so many issues, chose an unqualified person as his presidential running mate, wanted to go to war in Iraq and Syria, ensured the survival of Obamacare. He did sponsor a bunch of obvious stuff like the legislation against Agent Orange....but by then there was a huge groundswell against it, which he saw the opportunity to ride. A creature of the media, the real man was something considerably less.

I know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me tell you what it is – deceit.” Deceit. There you have it.

Poor dense den

John McCain Was the 3rd Most Unpopular US Senator — And They Want to Rename a Federal Building after this Trump-Basher?

The liberal media, Democrat politicians, RINOs and Trump-bashers are showering Senator John McCain with praise following his death.

McCain was a frequent critic of Republican leadership. He was the Democrats’ favorite senator.
McCain lost to Obama and hated Trump. That’s all that mattered to Democrats.

And after his death he blocked President Trump and his former running mate Sarah Palin from his funeral.
How awful.

Minority leader Senator Chuck Schumer proposed renaming the Russell Senate Office Buildingafter the late John McCain this week.

But while John McCain was a favorite with the ruling class, the working class detested him.

John McCain was the third most unpopular US Senator in a 2018 poll. (SEE Gateway Pundit for the poll results)

And for the record, this poll wasn’t a fluke — John McCain was the third most unpopular senator in 2014 too.

No wonder that loser dense denise reveres this scumbag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check the third post to see who first politicized John McCain's death on this Board, none other than Koos Kombuis......with no words for McCain himself in that first post, not one. Thanks for reminding us of that further hypocrisy Koos.

"But when some member is moved sufficiently by the circumstances of a particular death to make note of it here, decency dictates that the sentiment and the event are treated with respect.

Nothing more."

So the thread was politicized from the start....before the start actually. And the fact that denny politicized it excuses you.....now there's funny you Welsh hobbit. At least denny acknowledged the person dying.....all you talked about was Trump. The difference between a genuine person and an opportunist. Feeling sorry you brought up this thread? You betcha!

And this from the master historian, Roxy.

Is this the same John McCain who crashed landed on an aircraft carrier during the Vietnam war which killed and injured 150 navy crew members?

Then instead of assisting with the damage and providing aid to the injured he retired to the Officers mess and watched the event on TV?

He might be a hero to many but he also walked away from his first family and re-married into money.

Classy guy indeed.

Not my HERO.

That's completely untrue.
