The yellow vest protestors are against what their governments  have done to the workers and poorer components over the last 20 years and the political connotations - like the NAZI story above) - have no impact on them.

However it is bad for present political parties when too many of their residents feel abandoned   by them and what is called  far-right parties and neo-Nazis are actually nothing of the sort.  They move much nearer to the populace than the older parties did,

In some countries in Europe the traditional parties have collapsed (Italy, France, Greece, Spain and even Belgium) and in others like Austria - the surviving party is in partership with the nationalists.   The same happened in Poland, Hungary and the Check Republic.

In Germany the traditional ruling parties have lost massive support and may be weakened further in the next Bundestag elections.    The result is that multi-party coalitions are necessary and the official opposition is the apf.   That normally leads to decay of the coalition parties and many of the Government Supporters are not happy with their present situation.

I would like to see what happens in the upcoming EU Parliament elections and that is going to be very interesting.
