You should look up the meaning of debate. As for people on here hating Russians, I believe nobody does. But an unprovoked attack on a weaker country is an act of cowardice by Russian leadership.  And it is the heart warming story of the year that the intended prey turned out to provide a shining example of bravery, smarts and resilience

Regardless of any failings of their leadership in the past the Ukrainian people have electrified the world with their courage.

Let me explain something to you about Russian Disinformation.   I got the figures of killings from Wikipedia - not really Russian disinformation - is it?    What was weird is that was about 7 months ago and if you are looking at the latest information about deaths from 2014 to 2021 - the figures has been changed drastically.    The 14 000 figure was indicated as being the case for the period before the Minsk agreement was signed and Wikipedia indicated at the time that the death toll after that was 4 500 during the remainder of the period 2015 to 2021.   

Other sources indicated that most of the deaths occurred in fighting around Mariupol that resulted in over 2000  murder/executions by the Asov Battalion of civilians in the city when they took over the city,   Another 1000 people were killed in Odessa  when there were peaceful demonstrations on labor issues and the same Battalion was brought in by the Ukraine Govenor - ee comments lower down about that one.    and the demonstrators fled into the Union Hall Complex - which was set on fire with the demonstrators inside it and all the "refugees" died in the fire.   Both the Mariupol and Odessa incidents were verified by the UN as having taken place.   It was after those two incidents that the Asov Battalion  was classified as a terrorist organization by the UN.  Even the USA ordered that they should not receive assistance through aid programs.    That did not deter anybody - the Batallion was integrated into the Ukraine Army and the terrorist label mysteriously vanished.

So what is this Asov Battalion?    It was started by a committed Nazi by the name of Andrij Biletsky - and was part of  the Facsist Patriot of Ukraine movement started in 1982.       Wikipedia called the movement as being accused by critics as being a far right and ultra-Nationalist - but there is no doubt it is a Nazi movement using the Nazi insignia on their regimental flags.   The funder of the movement was surprisingly the Yewish Oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi  - who also is the main funder  of the Party who supported Zelenskyy in his Presidential campaign.   

Another weird part according to Wikipedia is that in the attack in 2014 on Mariupol the partners of the Asov Battalion was the Chezniah Separatists - the main sponsors and starters of ISIS and the Boston bomb incident - as well as supporters of the Georgian ex-President Saakhalashvili - who were kicked out by the Georgians and in absentia charged with murder, bribery and corruption.- the latter is now the Governor of Odessa.    No wonder murder was the norm in that company.  By the way the Russians warned the USA about the two people involved in the Boston bomb incident - but the FBI did nothing about it.      

Does not seem to be a really kosher set up.    The problem is the above is all Russian Disinformation Wikipedia fell for and should  be regarded as false.   The Battalion from Hell is not a purely Ukraine organization - it is partly international and made up of fascists from all over the world.   Wikipedia called them ultra-right wing - but what is the difference between that and Fascism?   By the way Biletski was an honored guest of Biden when he was VP. 

The link between the Asov Battalion and Zelenskyy was confirmed when he  awarded them the Heroes of Ukraine Award.   Whenever anybody tells the truth of the Battalion - the members on site clams that the above is Russian Disinformation.   Anyway Zeleskyy is linked directly through the whole process to the Ultra-Rightists in Ukraine - so what can we expect for the future of Ukraine?    Definitely a dictatorship - Zelenskyy has already banned all opposition parties in Ukraine from functioning and had all opposition members of the Ukraine Parliament arrested.

"Western/fake News" are reporting losses of 20,000-30,000 Russians - just in Bakhmut. 
If reports are true it is 10 Russians for one Ukranian.
