Actually I have never supported Biden. I think he has been a disastrous president and clearly too old to serve. But he was never competent even when not impaired
I am entirely against open borders, but I respect people. Most of the immigrants who come to the States are doing it to better their lives and the lives of their children. They are willing to work incredibly hard and are doing many of the lousy jobs in the country.
We need a sane immigration policy, but denigrating decent people isn’t the way to get there.
To some extent I am uniparty. I don’t approve of assault weapons in private hands and the gun culture in America is crazy. The government isn’t coming to take your children. And if they were your pea shooter wouldn’t stop them. All these millions of guns ensure is some deranged person is going to shoot up a school.
Nobody wanted the Ukraine war. The world was trying to recover from the disruptions of COVID. And it’s entirely on Putin for walking into a sovereign country. Many countries would have folded like France in WW2. The Ukranians haven’t.
Zelensky may not be Churchill. But nor is Churchill …Churchill. The myth far exceeds the man who made horrible blunders in both wars. But like Zelensky he served to galvanize the defense.
America has made mistakes with Russia, Sochi for example, never really welcoming them into the fold. But that doesn’t mean you can launch a war which may cause a million deaths and destroy a country.
Putin isn’t the savior of white South Africa. He is just another thug. Which is a shame because Russia has wonderfully talented people and great cultural history.
In short, I have my own views on life, I’m not governed by a globalist vision or a party vision. I take what I find right. And having lived on three continents and in several countries, I find people have much in common at a personal level….love of family, willingness to work, a sense of decency.
Russia has already lost this war. The world view of Russia is much diminished. Europe, their logical customer, is in the process of building new energy infrastructure which excludes them and despite the daily ‘news’ on this site, they still haven’t defeated the Ukraine.
We'll see what happens...

Why do I think this is credible. Because I have had first hand experience with some of these sources.
Because there is no sane reason America would have promoted a Ukrainian war with Russia, when every military expert thought Russia would win in months. Why would America want to give Putin a victory?
Because the USA like the rest of the world was focused on successfully getting past COVID in February 2022, not promoting any wars.

But Zelensky let down his people by indulging in emotional reactions. His job was to negotiate the rare earths deal and secure American support. And as distasteful as it was….he needed to connect with Trump.
He failed in that mission…rolled his eyes, looked up at the ceiling, made an unnecessary remark about America behind it’s protective Oceans.
As a leader he had no right to say those things, not because they were unfair or wrong, but because he was serving the boys who are out there dying. Those moments of petulance can lead to many more deaths
