Schiff apparently is writing scripts for movies and plays as a hobby - so one has to look at that as an angle in the Impeachment scenario, especially since in that case he is what in a normal movie is impossible - namely to be the Prosecutor, the Judge and the jury all at the same time.
So why is the present case going to be a losing one from a movie perspective? First of all there was a whistleblower - who was the basis on which the whole case was based. However, although the mans name is obviously known to most people in Washington - he will according to the "Prosecutor" not be called to substantiate the evidence which led to the investigation initially. This will be unbelievable in a movie script of value - but in the Schiff case it is desirable that he does not give evidence at all. However, the Whistleblower caused a problem for himself - he went on a money raising spree to collect money for what?
That is followed by a list of witnesses with no connection to the phone call on which the whole case is based, There evidence is based on the personal impressions they gained from what happened and the result was some contradictions in what they produced on the "stand". No real case proven as yet since there was no tangible evidence presented to date.
The "Judge" in this case can decide to call the whistleblower in a final effort to get a conviction that he desires - but seems to be afraid that it could have further complications in the case,
A bad script I am afraid and any court would throw it out because the evidence thus far has been worthless. Own impressions by especially people fired for a variety of reasons are not really conclusive evidence in any trial or enquiry,
Apparently Schiff is a poor scriptwriter and not the most effective Congressman either. Perhaps he should call for advice from his sponsors - George Soros and his Russian sponsor who has interesting an armament factory in Ukraine. Or maybe they should hope that the dogs in the chamber would calm the nerves of his co-jury members.
