I would rather be descended from anybody other than to admit that I had a distant grandfather who was party to the effective  murdering of women and children. on a massive scale.   

So your ancestors came to SA  about a hundred  years ago and thrived from apartheid - which was in place from 1910  and formalized  only after 1948.    I assume you left SA just before or just after the ANC  took over the SA Government,   Wise decision,.  but  to accuse me as an Afrikaans person to be apartheid supporter  is a huge joke un bad taste,
