Looks like a solid all round centre. Fair turn of pace, strong through the tackle, a bit of footwork, good rugby brain and solid defender. 92kg at the moment

Har far can this guy go? Is the praise below fully warranted?

Witness the emergence of a rugby phenomenon in "Unleashing Weapon X: Springbok's Next Prodigy - Henco van Wyk's Rise". This highlight video celebrates the awe-inspiring journey of 22-year-old Henco van Wyk, a player set to redefine rugby greatness. With a playstyle echoing NFL legend Brian Dawkins, van Wyk has earned the moniker 'Weapon X', symbolizing his formidable presence on the rugby field. Trained under the wing of Springbok legend Jacques Fourie, Henco's skills in both attack and defense are unmatched. He's a maestro of the diving tackle and a genius at turnovers, showcasing a tackling technique that's arguably the best in rugby today. Despite limited opportunities with his team, Henco's stats in defenders beaten, line breaks, and tries scored place him in the top ranks, proving his extraordinary talent. His agility, strength, and resilience shine on the attack, where he effortlessly breaks tackles, evades defenders, and displays a work rate that's nothing short of inspiring. Henco van Wyk isn't just a player; he's a rugby artisan crafting his path to becoming a Springbok legend. For fans of the Springboks and rugby enthusiasts worldwide, this video is a tribute to the potential and prowess of South Africa's next rugby superstar. From stunning defensive plays to breathtaking attacking maneuvers, witness why Henco van Wyk deserves the Springbok jersey.

Yeah, the guy is a boss.

Really, I like how he plays.

Excellent anticipation.

Actually, watched a TSA video featuring him a few hours back. Here it is...

Is he Moodie's partner? I can see it. I think they'd rip defenses apart. Also, their combined rugby IQ would be the most we've had in the Bok midfield for umm...more than a decade, at least.

The Problem is his size, at 12...when the rest of our backs aren't large guys.

92 kg isn't big but he could fill out a bit to say 96kg. However like a bigger version of Kolbe he punches above his weight and climbs in.Liked that pace when he chased do the Bok winger. Also would like to see him partnered with Moody at center,  As you say two smart centers. \Play Dyamani at eight and Kwagga at 6 and lets see how it goes! How about trying this  backline:Grant Williams, Libok/PollardHenco, MoodieArendse/Mpimpi/Nkosi and KolbeWillemse.Small backline but lethal on attack. adding in Pollard and say Mpimpi adds muscle. Can they defend well enough and be physical enough. Give it a try supported by two fast loosies.

It's such a weird one. Like as soon as we wanna add another smallish back to the mix, then we feel like we have to drop Kolbe or Arendse. But then, I can't remember seeing Kolbe or Arendse ever being run over or missing tackles. Right? So, it makes one wonder, should we be concerned about adding a guy like Henco in at 12, and is having a smaller backline only a problem in our minds but not actually on the field. Henco was born to be a Bok though. Everything about him screams international rugby.
