More details please. The only recirded record where Tru,p amd Epstein is involved in and that was Epstein and his gitlfriend visited Mar El Lago before - somewhere in the period around 2006 to 2008. During the visit Epstein tried to lure the girl to come to New York and work for him. The girl involed told Trump what happened and he cancelled Epstein's clun membership.

Living in New York at the ttime Trump knew what Epstein was up to since Epstein was also moving in the same social circles of the wealthy and that is perhaps the reason why he would inform the FBI anout Epsteins activties,

Let me add there were two other incidents involving Trump and Epstein also well recorded and at the time Epstein - like half of he New York billionnaires were members of the Mar-el-Lago club. Trump whose plane was beings erviced had to go to an urget eeting in New York and Epstein said he could fly with him to New York in his plane.

A the time Trump was not involved in politics and he decided to resign from the Dempocratic Party in 2007 and in 2013 he joined the Republican Party. Come along the 2016 election and Trump had to make cabinet nominations for cosideration by the Senate, In 2007 charges were laid against Epstein of being operating a ring inmvolving sex with children - but he got a top lawyer and Epstein did not go to jail. In 2017 Trump nominated the Epstein lawyet to be appointed - but whwen he found out the role the nominee played in getting Epstein of the hook he wothdrew the nomination.

I did not ever read anything about Trump tipping off the FBI abot Epstein activities - so please provide the evidence you have about the allegation.

Reported heights

  1. Donald Trump: In April 2025, a White House memo from the presidential physician listed Trump's height as 6 feet 3 inches. However, other reports show slight variations. For example, his driver's license reportedly listed his height as 6 feet 2 inches in 2016, and some booking records have also cited a height of 6 feet 3 inches. Critics have frequently debated his actual height, often suggesting it is shorter than officially reported.
  2. Jeffrey Epstein: Several sources, including IMDb, list Epstein's height at 6 feet 1½ inches. Additionally, a 2019 Florida Sexual Offender document on file with FactCheck.org lists his height as 6 feet. A Wikipedia article about Epstein's death also noted that he was "almost 6 ft (1.8 m) tall".

NEW YORK (AP) — A jury found Donald Trump liable Tuesday for sexually abusing advice columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996, awarding her $5 million in a judgment that could haunt the former president as he campaigns to regain the White House.

The verdict was split: Jurors rejected Carroll’s claim that she was raped, finding Trump responsible for a lesser degree of sexual abuse. The judgment adds to Trump’s legal woes and offers vindication to Carroll, whose allegations had been mocked and dismissed by Trump for years.

She nodded as the verdict was announced in a New York City federal courtroom only three hours after deliberations had begun, then hugged supporters and smiled through tears. As the courtroom cleared, Carroll could be heard laughing and crying.

Jurors also found Trump liable for defaming Carroll over her allegations. Trump did not attend the civil trial and was absent when the verdict was read.

Trump immediately lashed out on his social media site, claiming that he does not know Carroll and referring to the verdict as “a disgrace” and “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time.” He promised to appeal.

Trump’s lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, shook hands with Carroll and hugged her lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, after the verdict was announced. Outside the courthouse, he told reporters the jury’s rejection of the rape claim while finding Trump responsible for sexual abuse was “perplexing” and “strange.”

“Part of me was obviously very happy that Donald Trump was not branded a rapist,” he said.

He defended Trump’s absence, citing the trial’s “circus atmosphere.” He said having Trump there “would be more of a circus.”

Tacopina added: “What more can you say other than ‘I didn’t do it’?”

In a written statement, Kaplan said the verdict proved nobody is above the law, “not even the president of the United States.”

Carroll, in her own statement, said she sued Trump to “clear my name and to get my life back. Today, the world finally knows the truth. This victory is not just for me but for every woman who has suffered because she was not believed.”

It was unclear what, if any, implications the verdict would have on Trump’s third presidential bid. He’s in a commanding position among GOP contenders and has faced few political consequences in the wake of previous controversies, ranging from the vulgar “Access Hollywood” tape to his New York criminal indictment.

His GOP rivals were mostly silent after the verdict, a sign of their reluctance to cross Trump supporters who are critical to winning the presidential nomination. Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, one of the few vocal Trump critics in the race, said the verdict was “another example of the indefensible behavior of Donald Trump.”

Carroll was one of more than a dozen women who have accused Trump of sexual assault or harassment. She went public in a 2019 memoir with her allegation that the Republican raped her in the dressing room of a posh Manhattan department store.

Trump, 76, denied it, saying he never encountered Carroll at the store and did not know her. He has called her a “nut job” who invented “a fraudulent and false story” to sell a memoir.

Carroll, 79, sought unspecified damages, plus a retraction of what she said were Trump’s defamatory denials of her claims.

The trial revisited the lightning-rod topic of Trump’s conduct toward women.

Carroll gave multiple days of frank, occasionally emotional testimony, buttressed by two friends who testified that she reported the alleged attack to them soon afterward.

Jurors also heard from Jessica Leeds, a former stockbroker who testified that Trump abruptly groped her against her will on an airline flight in the 1970s, and from Natasha Stoynoff, a writer who said Trump forcibly kissed her against her will while she was interviewing him for a 2005 article.

The six-man, three-woman jury also saw the well-known 2005 “Access Hollywood” hot-mic recording of Trump talking about kissing and grabbing women without asking.

The Associated Press typically does not name people who say they have been sexually assaulted unless they come forward publicly, as Carroll, Leeds and Stoynoff have done.

The verdict comes as Trump faces an accelerating swirl of legal risks.

He’s fighting a New York criminal case related to hush money payments made to a porn actor. The state attorney general has sued him, his family and his business over alleged financial wrongdoing.

Trump is also contending with investigations into his possible mishandling of classified documents, his actions after the 2020 election and his activities during the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump denies wrongdoing in all of those matters.

Carroll, who penned an Elle magazine advice column for 27 years, has also written for magazines and “Saturday Night Live.” She and Trump were in social circles that overlapped at a 1987 party, where a photo documented them and their then-spouses interacting. Trump has said he doesn’t remember it.

According to Carroll, she ended up in a dressing room with Trump after they ran into each other at Bergdorf Goodman on an unspecified Thursday evening in spring 1996.

They took an impromptu jaunt to the lingerie department so he could search for a women’s gift and soon were teasing each other about trying on a skimpy bodysuit, Carroll testified. To her, it seemed like comedy, something like her 1986 “Saturday Night Live” sketch in which a man admires himself in a mirror.

But then, she said, Trump slammed the door, pinned her against a wall, planted his mouth on hers, yanked her tights down and raped her as she tried to break away. Carroll said she ultimately pushed him off with her knee and immediately left the store.

“I always think back to why I walked in there to get myself in that situation,” she testified, her voice breaking, “but I’m proud to say I did get out.”

She never called police or noted it in her diary. Carroll said she kept silent for fear Trump would retaliate, out of shame and because she worried that people would see her as somewhat responsible for being attacked.

The jury awarded Carroll $2 million for Trump’s sexual abuse and $20,000 in punitive damages. For defamation, jurors awarded $1 million for Trump’s October statement, another $1.7 million for harm to Carroll’s reputation and $280,000 in punitive damages.

Tacopina told jurors Carroll invented her claims after hearing about a 2012 “Law and Order” episode in which a woman is raped in the dressing room of the lingerie section of a Bergdorf Goodman store.

Carroll “cannot produce any objective evidence to back up her claim because it didn’t happen,” he told jurors. He accused her of “advancing a false claim of rape for money, for political reasons and for status.”

In questioning Carroll, he sought to cast doubt on her description of fighting off the far heavier Trump without dropping her handbag or ripping her tights, and without anyone around to hear or see them in the lingerie section.

The lawyer pressed her about — by her own account — not screaming, looking for help while fleeing the store or seeking out medical attention, security video or police.

Carroll reproached him.

“I’m telling you he raped me, whether I screamed or not,” she said.

There’s no possibility of Trump being charged with attacking Carroll, as the legal time limit has long since passed.

For similar reasons, she initially filed her civil case as a defamation lawsuit, saying Trump’s derogatory denials had subjected her to hatred, shredded her reputation and harmed her career.

Then, starting last fall, New York state gave people a chance to sue over sexual assault allegations that would otherwise be too old. Carroll was one of the first to file.

You have far too much time to get distorted media BS, Trump was NEVER charged with any crime related to an incident that never took place. Carroll started a story in 2006 that she was raped by Trump in a store changeroom in 1994 and she displayed a dress she was wearing and then found out the relevant dress only went on the market in 1996 so she changed her date of the alleged crime to 1996.

Trump does not do shopping himself and never went to the store Carroll alleged she was sexually assailted by him and no crime was ever reported. On the whole her incredible story was ignored by eveybody and the issue remained quiet until he entered politics when Carroll came back with this issue in the media. Trump was not amused by the BS and said in public that she must have wished the incident to have happened.

The rape incident was not relevent in the court case and all Carroll claimed that in his comment Trump libelled her and that was what the crooked court deccided on.was to award her $95 million for libeling her, This has aftewads be reduced to $5 million. The prove was never needed that the incident happened and Carroll did not get the $5 nillion at all since the matter is on appeal and like the James case thrown out by the Federal Court with Carroll having to cover Trump's legal costs which could run into $500 million like the court ordered Daniels to pay him. .

So nothing of the sort was proved in the court and you are a fool to believe the BS but in your case Batshit has taken over your thinking ability and you believe the media shit fed to you.

What Tump did he has to account for like all other people. But then issues must be proved in court and not based on lies that backfired badly in all the recent cases the Democrats tried through lies to have Trump removed as Republican Party candidate in the 2024 election.

It is essential that facts should be proved in a court of law.and not in the media who hates Trump.

So give us proven facts and I for one will support legal action against Trump. Thus far he was investigated more than any other politician in the hsitory of the USA and NOTHING was found to get him convicted of any crime. Two divorces does not indicate a person people like to have as President - but according to his family he is a proper father and grandfather to his descendents,

An angel he is definitely not - but neither is he a criminal ever proven to be the case in the past..

Trump is no ‘strongman’ when it comes to Russia or Israel. If other democracies don’t step up, anarchy awaits

Simon Tisdall

Putin and Netanyahu are creating chaos in the vacuum left by a weak US president. But there are still ways to foil them

Sun 14 Sep 2025 06.00 BST

1,090

It is too easy to blame Donald Trump for everything that goes wrong in the world. The ability of any US president to fundamentally change or control the behaviour of other major powers is frequently overestimated. Yet by posing as a sort of uncrowned global monarch and grand arbiter of war and peace, Trump perpetuates fantasies of US hegemony, omnipotence and divine right. Intoxicated by such ego-inflating delusions, he pledged before taking office to swiftly end the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts. Perhaps, in his vanity and hubris, he truly believed he could.

Eight months on, the exact opposite is happening. Both crises are expanding and escalating. The bubble has burst, his bluff has been called, the emperor has no clothes – and there is no denying that Trump, by alternately appeasing, excusing and encouraging the two foremost villains of these twin tragedies, is greatly to blame. Last week’s multiple Russian drone incursions into Nato member Poland – which Polish officials are right to call deliberate – risk transforming the Ukraine war into a Europe-wide conflagration. Likewise, the reckless, illegal Israeli airstrike in Qatar, which blew up the Gaza peace process, physically and metaphorically, has supercharged regional tensions.

A common factor in both developments is US weakness, which is to say, Trump weakness. Has any other US president devoted so much effort to making himself look like a strong leader while failing miserably to act like one when it matters? Much of what he does, whether it’s promulgating illegal executive orders, firing senior officials, bullying neighbours and defenceless migrants, ordering troops on to the streets of US cities, backing a fellow coup leader in Brazil, or picking fights with judges and independent media, is about bolstering the strongman Trump image.

The reality is very different. When Trump is faced by tough, unyielding opponents, rather than soft targets, he folds. He chickens out. Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, and Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, worked this out long ago. Both men play him for a sucker. They flatter him. They spin lies about wanting peace. They offer easy wins. Then they go home, as was the case with Putin after last month’s embarrassing Alaska summit, and carry on doing whatever they want, which usually involves even greater violence. When an angry Trump calls to complain, as after Netanyahu’s Qatar raid, and whinges, pathetically, that he’s “not happy”, he merely confirms his weakness – and is ignored.

Far from facilitating an end to these wars, Trump has become a prime obstacle to peace. His ill-considered interventions, grandstanding and partiality make matters worse, prolonging both conflicts. His dearth of leadership skills, coupled with a lack of integrity and common sense, is shocking for Europeans, accustomed to dealing with mostly rational, relatively competent presidents. Trump’s hostility to the EU and Nato, his tariff wars and his anti-democratic machinations have further undermined western cohesion and confidence – and boosted authoritarian regimes.

Poland shoots down Russian drones over its airspace – video

Watching from his Kremlin lair, Putin acts accordingly. The drone incursion into Poland – not the first, but by far the biggest – was a calculated test of Nato reactions and unity. He will have been gratified by the defensive vulnerabilities it exposed and the uneven political response. Trump has said little so far – and done nothing. His silence is telling. He will not admit that his fawning subservience towards Putin has backfired horribly. Nor, despite the many military, diplomatic and economic weapons at his disposal, will he now summon the strength and courage to take a stand. So Putin gets a free pass, again. Next time it could be worse. What if, say, Russia directly threatens Finland? Or Germany? What will Trump do then?

On the evidence to date, the suspicion is: not much. Former president Joe Biden was rightly criticised for playing it cautious on Ukraine. Trump is barely in the game. The UK and European Nato states must stop deferring to Washington, take off the gloves and finally draw a line with Moscow. Creating a protected no-fly zone over unoccupied areas of Ukraine, expanding military aid, halting all Russian energy imports, confiscating frozen Kremlin funds, isolating sanctions-busting Russian and Chinese banks, and downgrading or cutting diplomatic ties with Putin’s regime are courses of action repeatedly urged here. And if need be, Europe’s armies must be prepared to shoot back. Waiting for Trump is as futile as waiting for Godot, without the jokes.

Trump or no Trump, Europe’s relationship with the US will never recover

Nathalie Tocci

Arab leaders meeting this weekend face similar pressure to break with the US after sidelined Trump sat back while Netanyahu added Qatar, a US ally, to the long list of countries Israel has attacked with US-supplied planes and bombs since 7 October 2023. What price now his grandiose plan to remake the Middle East? US policy is held hostage to Netanyahu’s extremist nihilism. Cut off US weapons supplies to Israel. Freeze bilateral financial aid. Impose sanctions. Support war crimes prosecutions of Israeli leaders. Recognise an independent state of Palestine. Any normal American president might do some or all of this. But Trump isn’t normal. He’s an aberration. He’s out of his depth.

Historic failures of international leadership are becoming all too common in this fractured 21st-century world. One was the 2003 US-British decision to invade Iraq. Another is the failure to effectively address the climate emergency. Now two more comparably epic disasters simultaneously loom. If the UN, holding its annual get-together this month, if Europe, if the west allow Russia and Israel to pursue their murderous, illegal, immoral and ever-expanding aggression, there may be no stopping an accelerating descent into global anarchy.

Unless democratic countries unite to secure a rapid halt to these wars, employing all necessary means including military force, then greater calamities will surely follow. But don’t count on the US to take the lead. Don’t count on weakling Trump. He’s part of the problem. He’s frit.
