Has there ever been a more wide open RWC?
Ireland are the #1 side in the world, France are in great form and you can never write off 3 time winners the Springboks and the All Blacks.
To add to that, all those fancied teams are in the same half of the draw so basically two of England, Australia, Wales or Argentina will be in the semifinals.
Don't think there's ever been such an open RWC before. This is reflected by the current bookies odds:
France 3-1
New Zealand 3-1
Ireland 4-1
South Africa 9-2
England 8-1
Australia 10-1
Argentina 25-1
Scotland 25-1
Wales 33-1
I do believe the eventual winner will come from Pool A or B and of course I'll be supporting the Bokke but the value bet must be the Wallabies at 10-1.
