We already have Senatla and Kwagga Smith on board. Senatla has Bok written all over him. Kwagga Smith is a brilliant player with an amazing skill set and work rate. Probably too small for a starting 6 in 15's but certainly punches above his weight physically......would make a great impact player off the bench in 15's as the Lions have been using him.

Should consider moving to centre

The other lad that really impresses me is Werner Kok who is a centre in 15's......he needs to be brought into the 15 man game. Big lad with plenty of power and skill.

Have always wanted to see Bronco du Preez at 9 in the 15 man game

There are some class acts in that Blitzbok side......Kolbe was another

Quick enough for centre, but given how good he is at turning the ball over and he certainly punches way above his weight physically, I'd keep as an impact 6.

Stats have him as 88kg, but I reckon that's out of date......I reckon he is probably closer to 95kg

Same as Kok, stats have him at 88kg, no ways is he that light.....he is 95kg plus

Like Matfield was not 107kg's. Saf, there is a good reason they don't play much 15's. Pity though as Kok and Smith are real talents.

No beenz, yours concur with mine. The lads are too small, thats why we always struggle against Fiji.

BB, interesting about Kok. Certainly looks bigger than 78kg's, but still too small for a 6 or centre. Pity.

Kok weighs 92kg Google Glasgow commonwealth games profile.
That was last year. My guess is he is closing in on 95kg this year. He looks a big lad and played centre in 15s

Souns better Saf. I can't for the hell of it understand  why so much stats on players are just plain wrong.

Fact is that the 7's game requires different physical attributes from the players compared to the 15 game.
In the ase of Snyman he plays at wing for the Super series and Kok at center.   However, Snyman plays regularly in tehstarting line-up and Kok is a bench player at best.   Smoth plays from the bench for the Lions in CC games at loosie - but even that is a rarity.
In the sevens game it is different.  There Smith is the hooker and at times Kok is a scrummer - even though he is more regularly on the outside in sevens.   All players in sevens must be good ball handlers and the forwards strong runners - wit speed if at all possible.   There is only one slowish player in the Blitzbokke team and that is Frankie Horne - the rest are strong runners with enough pace.
The natire of the game is such that it is rare for a Blitzbokke player to mae an impact in the 15 man game -  so other than perhaps Senatla - most of the others will not really be eligible for selection in the 15 man game.
My observation is  leave them in the 7's game - they are really flourishing there.

Mike stop speaking shit, Kok is a starter in the 7's and one of their best players. Snyman was average on the wing in 15's and is not that good in the 7's side.....he is at best solid.

Snyman would not play wing these days in 15's he is far too slow.

You need to start actually watching the games......Kok is never a scrummer, he is in the backs.

Given the impact he has made in 7's, I have no doubt that he would be good at centre in 15's, just like du Preez would be good at 9 in the 15 man game.

Kwagga Smith is probably too small to make it as a flank in 15's

snapster playing Kwagga as a lose forward is rediculous. We have concerns about Jaco kriel at 100 kg never mind this. To me he kwagga fast enough and skilful enough to play centre and both he and Werner punch above their weight. Witness their performance against the far bigger although admittedly passive Fijians.
I would like both of them playing center in the Super Rugby comp and see how it works out. If they are around the 90 kg mark it is enough for them to stand a chance given the fight in the dog.
Who does Werner play for?

Beeno, Werner played U19 Currie Cup for WP in 2012, he isn't currently affiliated to 15 man rugby.

Beenz, Kok plays more like a 6, but he is fast enough for centre. We do however have enough centers to watch in the next S15, so why disrupt the 7s side?
