As Denny predicted this wasn't great. Similar styles and a cautious mindset in both players made things rather boring. Perhaps they need to speed up the surfaces. I watched the last Oz Open final on grass, Edberg vs Cash, which had much more cut and thrust. But at least Novak has a good sense of humour.

Still we are light years away from the great Borg/ Conners/ McEnroe finals.

Murray looked a little gut-less to me but admittedly I only watched bits and pieces as I was at the gym.

The gym was a better bet, but don't hurt yourself!

Yeah don't know what Open Final you were watching. It was one of the most competitive open finals in the first three sets haha. Some of the very best Male Tennis right their at its peak. I think match went down hill when Murray gave up haha. TBH the only person I can see beating Novak at his best is Nadal. Something about Novak I just don't like. I am sure he is a very nice guy. Just this vibe I get from him, anyway.

Boring baseline tennis, both players waiting for a mistake. The Wawrinka match was far more compelling.
Novak has a sense of humour as we saw in his wiinner's remarks. He also applauded Murray's good shots. The Pacific will freeze over before you see Murray do that.

We were clearly watching a different final.....as the BBC commentators said, two of the most athletic players he has seen play the game.
Their ability to retrieve some of those shots was brilliant. Great match up to the last set.
Moz is much like you telling us how great Matfield and Morne are and how crap Lood, Jan and co are......we clearly watch different games at all sports......throw JP the bowler in as well for good measure

 Hmmmmmm...........
Oh hang on...I've just had a think about this.

She is nice looking, but she isn't your favourite by any stretch...but you don't actually have one ? Well, that could mean she is your favourite then....she might not have any competition !!!

That's true, but I think the only player who could of swaped these players and match them for athleticism is Nadal.
