Fellas,

This weekend I will be playing in The Wooden Spoon charity festival along with some of these muckers from the video above that I haven't played with in 10 or more yrs. We will be representing the West Midlands.

If anyone wants to, or is able to donate to the charity it would be greatly appreciated. Be assured that the funds will not be spent on KT Tape, physio bills or pain killers as much as we would need it. I also believe that there will be a world record attempt for the longest rugby game (standards may vary).

We were a quality side back then. Sadly that club no longer exists. Lads moved away or started families, colts that were playing drifted off to unis or college and then suddenly from putting 3 teams out a week, we were struggling to fulfill 1st team games. It was a works team and club house with football, rugby, cricket, bowls and darts teams.

Damn, I miss my cricketing days in England.

Always batted best when I was hungover as all hell and barely slept. I developed a theory that my brain was too tired to think of other things and so I could just focus on batting.

What position were you playing?

Have to admit I'm getting some nostalgia for playing the game from watching those clips.

I do Plum, but at close to 50 the joints are a problem. All those shenanigans from the younger days come back as niggles. Knees especially.
