The kbbs will probably be thinking its not possible! However how about the following as a potentially great sevens side:

Carr, Hougaard, Kriel

Reinach, JJ , Jordaan, Habana /Van Wyk.

To win the olympics gold we will need to suplement the sevens side. Be assured the wee abs will be looking to prop up their faltering sevens side in an effort to match the Blitz!

Why change what works? Just get Senatla to pass now and then and look for support runners. The combinations are gelling, I don't think you want to mess that up.

BB firstly this is a second side showing that we have great depth is we plan properly. Please grasp the fact that the wee abs will be pulling in guys from the 15 man code to strengthen their falterin g side. What are we going to do???
We must stay ahead of the game. We need to think strategically not bury our heads in the sand like you are doing. We will not remain at the top long with this  sort of mindset!!!!

Your criticism re Senatala is way over the top. Get a grip BB!

 Beeno is going bananas again
I think that perhaps Reinach should be added to the present squad and would not be averse to add Kriel as well.   Basically that would bring another edge to the blizbokke.  For the rest I will s tay with the present squad.   The other player who was a top sevens player when he played was Jordaan.
By the way I do not think that Carr is a 7's type of player.   Hougaard definitely is not one.
If I have to select a 14 man squad for the Olympics my choices would be the following:-
Forwards
Brown, Smith, Horne, Snyman, Kok, Kriel, Nel
Backline
Africa,  Du Preez, Senatla, Jordaan, Reinach, Van Wyk, Kolbe(?)
Kolbe was very quiet in Sevens recently and I think Van Wyk could also be very useful for the forwards.   Hendricks is not what he used to be and neither is Benjamin

Beeno, why is it that we cannot criticise players?

Should we be blind to their weaknesses and only sing odes to their greatness?

I trust in Neil Powell's judgement, he knows what he is doing. Unlike Meyer.
