Moz your support of our players is so admirable...I really don't know why you bother. So under useless Meyer we lose to the AB s by 2 points in the WC and have them cheat us out of a victory with the illegal Mc Caw try from the line out in the RC and our players are not good enough to make the AB B side. How insulting and what utter fucking rubbish. Maybe you should just start supporting the AB s?
As for Crotty he has the be the worst 12 the AB s have every employed. The guy is devoid of talent, robotic...has about as much creativity as a fish out of water. They might as well be playing Morne Steyn at 12.
de Allende, Serfontein, Odendaal, Esterhuizen, Frans Venter, Janse v Rensburg, Mnisi and Frans Steyn are all better 12s. Hell de Jongh is a better 12.
Crotty is utterly useless...will never last in the AB side. Problem being they lack any quantity there but no doubt will find someone to replace the talentless Crotty

The Lions subs....Whiteley and Combrink, together with Willie's superb break and offload....made the day. Both have to start next week. Not sure about Mapoe and Redlinghuis.....but surely Kriel has to start with Steph potentially at 7.
But the bigger point is these guys played like winners and sparked the team. Make Whiteley the captain...he was the de facto captain out there.

I cannot understand Mozart at all - the great exponent of stampkatr rugby. The Springboks played stampkar rugby in the first half and flopped badly. When they started to play more comprehensive rugby the whole game changed. The odd men out today were once again the loosies - they were sub-standard and way to pace-deficient to ever make the grade. I am not convinced yet that Jantjies is a test flyhalf and think that he was part of the problem today. Mapoe was largely invisible as well, while the only time Pietersn did anything was when he gave away a penalty.

Mapoe had a respectable test. Leave him be for a while.
The first half was very poor. Only when they decided to attack and made the necessary changes did things improve.
They now have a blue print for the future.
Loosies, Kreil, Whiteley and Du Toit. Worth a shot.
One can only hope Alistair, who is not the sharpest pencil in the box, has learnt the lessons!
