with form being the one and only prerequisite for this All Black selection thread, what would ur teams look like???

with the top 4 teams in super rugby being the cheifs, crusaders, highlanders and hurricanes, this really shouldnt be as easy as it sounds...

frontrow
hurricanes frontrow have been the form frontrow for NZ, and the crusaders have also preformed magnificently, hence their selections making up the team and bench.

locks
barret has been the form NZ lock period, conssitently outpreforming All Black incumbents and crusader teammates whitelock and romano game in and game out.

retallick had a slow start to the season, but hes hitting his peak at just the right time now and thats just o for awesome cos test rugby is just around the corner.
idk if he timed his peak just rignt, but it wouldnt surprise me he is after all the worlds best lock.

loosies
tafua and ardie shouldnt come as a surprise, their form has been unquestionable, best 6 and 7 in NZ.

No8 is a bit more contentious, the only real contenders was read, luatua and vito.
chiefs leitch is the capt of the japenese aka Bok slayers, and highlanders have for various reasons chopped and changed all season.
luatua has been one of the few bright lights in what has been a miserable dark blues cloud and thats why he gets the nod.

dixon on the bench, he would be in the starting line up if it wasnt for tafua, exceptional form for the landers.

halves
aaron smith, best half back in the world, best halfback in super rugby, nuff said.

barret, very hard to pick this one, as cruden and sopoaga have been in fantastic form too.
i ultimately went with barret and sopoaga, as those two have run their backline just as  good but not better than cruden, but their ball in hand attack has been tumeke, even by kiwi standards.

centres
ngati is the form 12 by a quite a way IMO, hes displayed a fantastic all round game from defence to attack and even a sharp kicking game.

13 has been a little tougher to select as all 5 NZ franchises have been unable to get their 13 solidified. this is a fair reflection of the current state of centres NZ has.

ultimately went with moala, cos despite his lack of quality ball, he is always creating something and making an impact on both attack and defence.

outsidebacks
mackenzie has been the most form outsideback in the comp, so his selection is a no brainer.
smith and dagg have also had seasons which is worthy of test starting, and thats why theyre in.

ioane is in my team, cos what hes been doing in 7s with his blitzing runs, hes been doing with the blues with every chance he was given.

naholo was very close to making it too, but decided to go with reiko as he has been playing his high level consistently and for a  longer period.

Sasuke, I'd have Kieran Read ahead of Steven Luatua and I'd also consider Taleni Seu as a bench option who can cover lock and blindside flanker.

In the backs I'd at least give Matt Faddes a mention while I'd def have Perenara ahead of Ellis on the bench.

 Naru-San, my selections are based on overall form for the s18 so far; plus my bench is based on purely of form not on versatility (ability to cover more than one position). Not taking into consideration best test player but best s18 players. Also, I have not picked based on players I like (intangibles or x factor) but based on results. Change any one of these variables & I would pick a different team.
I would put Patrick Tuipulotu on the bench at lock ahead of fatialofa at lock;back row: Reid ahead of Luatua; 10: Mo'unga ahead of Barrett; I would pick Sopoaga on the bench (he has been hot especially in his last 3 games).Center: Fekitoa ahead of Moala;Agree on outside backs.
PS I would pick Weber over Ellis at 9

 Rooie is right RE perenara who has come along a fair bit this year .Ya need Reid as Captain eh ? Ellis ? Nah mate more rugged and bugg.ered than old and bold .Which personality JW ?
