ABs pressing hard in the Frenchie line...
All Blacks vs France third test
Haha France stop them again and get the scrum
Great defense again by the French on their line again. ABs not too adventurous though, just blunt forcing it.
Quick penalty at the scrum and France will clear. Another multi-phase AB attack close to the line comes to nothing.
French are smashing the ABs at the breakdowns. Dmac with another questionable decision in running it into contact when he had space and support wide, French penalty. Penalty just wide, score unchanged.
Dmac messes up and hands the French a penalty.
Massive adrenaline dump for the ABs here.
France going for a shot...difficult kick in the corner at the AB 10m line
If he gets this one I'd be surprised...he misses
19-17
The ABs bring on some subs
Dmac passes to no one, France kicks through, Love cleans up well.
ABs now getting some breakdown penalties. First Savea, now Kirifi.
Haha old Dmac, how is he an All Black?
This was the guy that Rooi was telling us caused the sun to set when he sat down
The French jsut keeping stopping the All Blacks on their line.
Thats a positive for the Bokke because that's where we excel.
ABs again fails to score from from close. Maybe time to play it wider, the French aren't giving them anything in contact.
Love has been good for the ABs.
And now Dmac makes a try with a little grubber.
that'll teach me
Try ABs. Stab through, Barre gathers under pressure behind the line but Reece rips it away from him for Kirifi to pick up and score. 22-19 AB.
Damn, France into touch a meter from the line. Try saver from Jordie.
ABs botch their own lineout, and Savea wins the penalty on the line to save the day.
Savea with a big steal their on the AB line.
That's are the types of player the ABs are short on these days
And AB lose another lineout. France proceed to trip themselves up though.
Love or hate them, the French being this competitive with this young a side is pretty impressive.
Dmac passing the ball into ALB's shoulder.
ABs probably unlucky not to get a try there but not enough evidence to overturn the held up.
ABs pressing the French line again...
Looks like it's held up yet again by France
Haha the Frenchies come away with the ball again.
Scrum
Chubby Tavatavanavavawai is on for ALB.
Love tries a long range droppie but it's not close. Kinda doesn't make sense to drop when you're turning down kickable penalties.
Hotham has been good at scrumhalf since he's come on for the ABs. Great pressure kick to get the ABs a 5m lineout.
ABs still brute forcing it and coming off second best. French have tackled them 20m back.
Held up again. They need a new plan.
Again again the French hold the ABs up...
You can't fault the heart they've shown today
Jordie steps attacked and sets McAlister up for an easy slide in try.
That's the game.
And Jordie Barrett finally breaks the deadlock with a clean break and feeding Mcalister.
29-19. French have shown terrific guts yes, can't help but respect it.
MOM probably Ardie Savea. Kirifi has been good too and both locks have been impressive as well.
I don't take too much from this match if I were the Boks.
The team in the lead always take their foot of the gas a little.
What is noticeable is that ABs don't like being rushed.
High intensity and high tempo rugby looks to be their weakness.
Play slow 3,6,9 rugby against them at your own peril.
Lekker chaps...
See yall later for the Sacha show
ABs sweep the series, but France can hold their heads high.
Klop they saved their best for last .
How about the quality of the AB fetchers .
I think the AB Backline is rather iffy in attack and they had the upper hand up front - but that will not be the case wit he Springbok pack. The best All Black players wer all playing - by most of the French top players were missing - s I would not take that series of particular importance.
D e Allende would make a mess f that lot - both in defese and attack.
