Ag my donner ou Beenbal. You are bitching and moaning about this red card issue but you do not get it that there is nothing anywhere that states that a punch has to be sanctioned with a red card. I have told you many times that that you do not know the rules of the game because you never bother to read or understand them. I suspect that you are just too lazy to look it up, or you do not know where to find it. For your convenience here are the links to different sections of the laws of rugby:

1. The Laws on Foul Play. (Law 10): www.irblaws.com/downloads/EN/Law_10_EN.pdf

2. Law Clarifications since 2002 on Foul Play: www.irblaws.com/EN/clarificationsbylaw/10

3. Law Application Guidelines: www.irblaws.com/EN/guidelines/

Now get of your lazy back side and go search for yourself if their is any mention anywhere of a compulsary red card for a punch.

Take your time.

Ag man ou windpomp you still dont get it. bonkers had a descretion and misused it.  The law required him to apply his mind he quite evidently did not. He ignored the assistant ref completely. Now the review panel gives the guy 5 weeks reduced to 3 weekShowing ho serius theoffence was) then because of a lack of a record they reduced it too 3 weeks - when all the time he has a record. Go figur ewindpomp or get  apal t ofigure or you!!

Please ou windpomp you know I don't like to see your cred taking a beating llike this. Its no use quoting the rules if you have no idea what they entail windpomp!  But I do thank you for your efforts in posting the rules as sane folk can intepret them. Hahahhahahahaha sidesplitting stuff from windpomp!

windpomp ou hatter you have not answered why bonkers decided to ignore the touch judge's recommendation. Explain how he applied his mind to the situation as the law required. Here was a very serious matter and he ignored the touch judge who had vital testimomy.

windpomp hot air is usefull if you are a balloon but not in getting to grips with an issue. Turn off the hot air windpomp for a moment and attempt an answer? Bwahahahahahaha

As for pooo he sounds so like ou dorkie dumbo with his spelling take off.  My source tells me the  guys miss me so much its actually embarrassing. Hahhahahahahahahaha. OK, Let me put this in capitol letters for you, because you clearly have a problem reading the lowercase.

HE DID NOT IGNORE THE ASSITANT REFEREE (THERE ARE NO TOUCHJUDGES IN RUGBY ANYMORE). HE LISTENED TO HIM AND HE GOT HIS RECOMMENDATION, AND HE DECIDED THAT A TEMPORARY SUSPENSION (I.E. YELLOW CARD) IS SUFFICIENT AND THAT A SEND OFF (I.E. RED CARD) IS NOT WARRANTED. WHY HE DECIDED THAT, I DO NOT KNOW. YOU WILL ASK HIM THAT.

I have never tried to explain the reasons why he took those actions. I tried to explain to you that he did not go beyond any of the laws of the game. Everything he did was according to the letter of the law. Period. You have this picture in your mind (because you never read the laws of the game, nor do you understand them) that Jonker HAD to send the player off with a red card, and that he ignored the law that he had no other option than to send him off.

Windpomp ho wcan you say I ahve never rad the laws of the game. I certinly read the laws pertaining t ofouldplay, the laws we are focusing on. becasue you posted themhere. Hahahahahahhahahaha are shot into those porous feet!!

Windpomp how many times do you need to b etold the AR made a recommendation of a red. bonker sheard him and that was that.

So lets say a judge is told by a witness that the accused should be hung and the witness has the evidence to make a guilty verdict stick. However the judge after hearing the witness say he is guitly takes no steps to interrogate the witness. That judge will be found not to have applied his mind.

The AR approached bonkers told him it was a red and that was all. Bonkers heard the recommendation but rejected the recommendation and moved on. You ask why he rejected the recommendation - well so do I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially as he didn't discuss it with the AR.

Could this be more progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps its time to introduce refs from other countries like Japan, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji and Argentina into this level of the game. Starting with S15 for starters.

Tired, tired of the pricks that are reffing now. The new guys would add credibility to this side of rugby.

No ref should be used in a game or AF's if any team from their country is involved.

Humans are always suspect even at the top.

Comments welcome....

Ou Beenbal, keep going, you are doing nicely with that hole you are digging yourself in. You have read the laws on foul play, you say? Then why did you have to ask me to give you "more dope" (sic) about the "red card for a punch" laws? You do not need to tell me about the ref getting whatever from the AR. Go back and read everything I have posted about the issue and you will see that I have actually given you an acurate acount, complete with vidoeclips and quotes from the laws of the game, of what had happened. Nice try. As I said previously, you do not understand the laws, and are not interested in having the real interpretation of it, hence my remark that I am done with that particular incident.

@Arthur John, perhaps it would be great for the development of refs in those countries, but just wait for the first few blunders by any of those refs.......................... I am not saying that the current panel of S15 refs are the alpha and the omega, but they are surely not the crappest that there are around. I would actually prefer to have sme of the NYH refs getting invoved, if only to iron out this issue about the so-called difference of interpretation between the NH and SH refs.
