Manie pulls it! Pumas just need to get the ball off the park from the restart.

Well done Los Pumas!!!

but...Manie can't kick for poles...

This side had a bit of a second-string feel- however, these players need to get game time to prepare for the next World Cup as some of the legends will not make it.

Moerat was poor today. I have never seen anyone try to play from such an offside position.
I am not convinced he is a test-level player, as I rarely saw him on the pitch before.

There are some question marks around how easily the Bok defence was beaten. 4 tries in the space of 20 minutes. Never before seen in the Rassie era of defence. Are teams working on the umbrella defence?

The Springbok backline was looking poor on attack. Delande will be sitting happily as his position was never under threat after this performance.

Next week will be good. Boks needs to score more points, after a good start the ideas just ran out. Willie Leroux was missed, especially without Sasha to create breaks and space.

Moerat, Dixon, Van Staden, Manie (threw a shit pass that lost us 10m and all our momentum while we were trying to make ground at the death there on top of the missed kick) don't belong in the side. Moerat and Dixon share the "most invisible player" award.

Argies nearly blew that with 2 lost lineouts whilst hot on attack and a bad blunder taking a high ball! Too easy getting around this Bok side out wide just as ABs did to them in the first test at Loftus. Boks backs very ordinary and IMHO this is definitely not the greatest Bok side in history. Scrum dominance kept them in this game and the only reason they were in it.

You can't give these fast little backs the outside gap. They fixed us inside, ran around us on the outside. The Boks by contrast looked clueless out back. Dunno what Brown is doing but it ain't showing.

Manie is done. No way you can pick this guy again. Too many chances and too many failures. School kids slot those most of the time. How could one select him with any measure of confidence going forward? Am is not a 12...AE was playing today. Why the hell wasn't he playing for the Boks!?

Also note that Argentina creates all that space outside without the need for a big 12 tractoring into traffic at the speed of half a meter per second.

Agree, Am should not be at 12 again.

But modern test 12s have to be retarded donkeys that run into walls and try to lose as many brain cells as they can each week. So rolls down the wisdom from on high Mount Rugby.

Mr Preident

Sorry but that is not the function of moden 12's  -   the flyhalf is the pivo th is rgnizng the attackng of the backie with the 12 the first cog in te wheel.  In dfnse the 12 is a key element as well.

That is why experts worldwide believe De Allede is the best 12.   He is not faultless - but he is better than any other 12 in the game worldwide.   Live with it.
