Up to about the  50 minute mark, Oz had 4 penalties against them. Seems reasonable. 

...until you look at the penalties and realise that only 1(25%) were legit.

So is this going to be the pattern now? Every time the result doesn't go the way that a select group here wants it to go we're going to have endless bleating about the tournament being rigged and refs and whatnot? NAh Beale is confidence player and he looks down on it atm as does foley.

It wasnt a bad lose really as ref call did ultimately make the difference. 

Wales still have to play fiji and looking at the welsh boring style of play if the fijians can put together a few tries will definietly push them.

Looked like North copped leg injury and Biggar also subbed off... 2 pretty important players for wales.

As a team I dont have anything against them I just dont think they are that good... and ref (especially kiwi TMO surprise surprise was on their side...)

Wallabies in second half looked like they would beat anyone... but that is the nature of the wallabies................................

Australia showed real character and class to come back the way they did...they'll definitely make the quarters and have the balls to go all the way...could be an Oz/Ab final.  

Don't underestimate the impact of the two dropped goals for the Welsh either. Taking the points on offer, quite simply, and it made the difference.

I guess the biggest bone of contention is whether Davies was offside or not. I can't get an angle on the replay reel that shows where he was when Genia actually picked the ball up. Genia was generally slow in getting the ball back, that time no exception as he took two steps before passing. Australia looked much better after White came on.

Oz destroyed the Welshies. Can they recover from such a bearing is the question. 

agree pakie i can cop the other incompetence from ref but tmo definitely should at least looked at angles on offer... perhaps if it was a fair try... well done... def looked like he got the jump but as u correctly said genia was slow taking a big wind up and step before passing... tmo should have reviewed is really where its at.

drop goals too added 6pts... and about 5mins to pack a scrum toward the end diabolical... poite did fair job i think it was tmo interference or lack of it that really screwed fairness

That incident ruined the game and showed kiwi interference in a game nothing to do with them... so hope kiwis cop the rawest deal in the knockouts...
