My avatar is an actors interpretation of a man dead for 250 years. Chabal likewise is an actors interpretation of Rob Roy, a long dead fictional character. No risk there. RooiAAS is sending out subliminal messages with his avatar of a fruit...say no more. Shark has a Bok legend, who is still a match winner....no risk there.

More humorously Dave is now a famous musical figure, as opposed to a tramp in a hut. Still his old avatar mysteriously reappears every now and then.

But then we have the two most obvious miscues. Cheeser  still clings onto a French club bench player...and old Maaik finally gave up on Steph and became de Allende. To me this introduces a conflict of interest. How can he call for a better13, when it means he has to eat avatar crow?

I can see why Dave related to the fellow. Morrison said:

' And so about three months later, I was 185 pounds, and you know what? I felt so great. I felt like a tank, you know? I felt like a large mammal, a big beast. When I'd move through the corridors or across the lawn, I just feel like I could knock anybody out of my way. I was solid, man. It's terrible to be thin and wispy because, you know, you'd get knocked over by a strong wind or something. Fat is beautiful."

Just imagine how good Dave feels at 220 ...hehe. And Morrison is an inch taller.

I know exactly what he said, and he did talk tripe sometimes.

He is neither fat nor short. We have had this argument forever and a day. Those cows just never come home, do they ???!

Perfect choice of avatar then.

The Morons at work again.  What has a person's avatar got to do with rugby at all - I have my avatar and I can change it when I want to - it has bugger noithing to do with anybody - and is jjust another useless exercize by the morons in a sick campaign.

On the contrary you chose this avatar to show your rugby acumen...your pick that showed how insightful you are. It's going to be embarrassing if this guy goes the way of JJ.

As I suspected - you chose Mozart as your avatar - showing a person who died  nearly a hundred years before rugby was developed as a sport.  So Mozart knew about as much about the game of rugby as you know at present.
Nice analogy.

I didn't choose an avatar because I have no idea how to post one

And I couldn't put a picture if myself, as I am the most hideous woman in the world, tm Misnomer Boy.

Oh, Mike made me chuckle !!

You are an old timer Dave...a middle aged man. But even if you're past your prime, there is no compulsion to enjoy Mozart...it's perhaps a little too subtle for you.

  Dave
I like Mozart's music and also those of other composers of note.   I alsolike some present music - provided it has a nice unes.
It is not the music -calssical or otherwsie - which is the topic under discussion on this site - it is the issue of rubgy and that is where anyone can choose any avatar they like  provided they know enough about the game - however some members are uindeed clueless about the game.

Don't listen to him, Mr S.....you still know how to whack a Cricket ball  and you are not an old timer ! Blimey. I am sure when you were his age, Mozart, if anyone had said that to you, you would have strongly disagreed.

I am getting on for 41, don't have me dead and buried just this yet, please. Even though I might feel that way !

It is actually very easy to post and change avatars.
The first  step is to find a picture anywhere on the internet of the person you want to use as your avatar - or for that matter any pictire you care to use.   Save that picture to your my pictures site and you are ready to import the picture into the site as you avatar.

On the top to the left of the site - next to "log out" is a facility  "Manage your profiile".  Press that one and you would find all the particulars as to your membership.
You would note that there is a facility under my avatar - which would be blank in yor case.   Then go tpo the bottom of the page and presss  "Manage Account",
Then goes to avatar heading and press "Choose file"  and your file "My Pictures" will automatically open up.   Go to the picture you want to insert as your avatar.  press on it and press the facility "Open"  on that window.
Then gp back to the site and press "Update"  and the picture you have chosen will automatically be come your avatar.

Was Mozart a baldie?  I think not -  several paintings and drawings done showed Mozart with a natural crop of hair until 1789 - ie 2 years before his death at the age of 35 .  As a protegee of the Empress Maria Theresa he had to wear a wig when attending court.   But one never knows - he might have been a baldie like our friend on this site.
