Someone like Eddie Jones or Steven Larkham should be employed by Rassie/Meyer to develop our backline players passing and playmaking ability. This program should be implemented into a blue print all the way down to primary school level.

Rassie Erasmus is responsibale for the development of rugby in SA. It is obvious that this is our weakest area.

Perhaps if we could improve on passing and playmaking we could take our number one spot back again,

I think with Eddie Jones previous role with SA being such a succesful one that we should look to again gain his knowledge.

However, I do feel sad that we dont have this skills base amongst our own coaches to meet this weakness.

Interesting enough the Kiwi commentators seem to rate us still as the biggest threats and though they see some shortcomings such as around our halves they kmow that the BOKS will always be at heir best when it matters.

Its great to see that they still feel this way about SA rugby I just hope we feel the same way about them rather than impassioned and ignorant views that come through from some unnamed few on here a.k.a. b@#$o1...hehe

spot on men....they have a wealth of knowledge and if they can transfer that knowledge to our local coaches then we can only be the better for it. there is a massive void in that department so i think this idea will really develop our game to a new level.

yes the kiwi do rate us yes but just imagine how dangerous we will be if you have a backline that is just as quick and skillfull as they have. we will dominate every level of rugby. its a scary thought really. bringing in men like larkham ext in a consultant role could be a great move.

or maybe just employ a national level consultant that overseas all the national francise and province sides backline coaches. can help to ensure that there is a common level or standard that needs to be aimed for.
