Why are you not brave enough to join the following competitions on Superbru:-

The 6 Nations Outcome predictor Competition

The Super 15 Outcome predictor Competition

If you join we would not have "He said - She Said" discussions on this forum.  Joining is very easy.    Google Suprbru and when the site opens up.   Apply for membership of the site and when you have completed the very simple application form they would ask you about pool membership.   Members of the forum should join the "saruckersforum" pool. The pool codes are as follows:-

6N Predictor: grewpall

S15 Predictor: cullfeel

When you want to make predictions -  press the Rugby ball  on the top of the page.   All Competitions will open up and you press either of the two predictor games for th e 6 Nations or Superrugby.

All you have to do is indicate which team will be winning and the winning margin of the team.  (There is also an option for a draw).   The top point scorer can win prices advertsied on Supersport.

Got nothing to do with being brave, just cant be asked to join these things when they sometimes dont even include 15 players in a rugby side and I for one don't pay particular attention to the Kiwi and Oz sides that are not playing a SA side at the time.

So I don't know enough about the Kiwi and Oz players to make a judgement call.

Find me a fantasy that is realistic and on the button with regards to squads, merits of players and I might join

"Find me a fantasy that is realistic and on the button with regards to squads, merits of players and I might join."

Dave, both the Foxsport and Superbru Fantasy competitions require the Fantasy Manager to select a full starting XV as well as an 8 player bench. The squads they put up for you to choose from are always updated and they even advise you if your player has been dropped, has a bye or is injured.

The main differences between the Foxsport and Superbru competitions is that the Foxsport has a monetary value for each player and you have to select a team within a limited budget, while the Superbru competition has no player values and you can pick whoever you like. However, the Superbru comp does have a limit to how many players you can pick from one team while in the Foxsport comp you can pick the entire Waratahs team if you felt like it (and if you could afford it).

The scoring system is very comprehensive and you be the judge of whether last year's Foxsport Fantasy top scorers accurately reflect last year's form players:

Obviously they're not going to please everyone but I think that's a pretty decent summary of the top players from last year.

Why not just play for a round or two and see how it goes? If you're not enjoying it then simply stop.

 Dave
Rooinek has explined to you the issue of the Fantasy competitions, but what is also covered in my item are the two Predictor competitions in respect of the 6Nations and Superrugby.   In those two competitions you must just indicate which team will win and forecast the winning margin - with an option to select also a draw.
Surely you can join those two competitions without too many grey hairs.

You're rubbish at those, Saffex  Look how badly we did at the 6 Nations predictor thingy the other year.....our players all kept getting injured ! I think we were both the kiss of death...ha ha ha !

Rooinek.....heads up for you on the England Squad, if you are picking players for any comps in the 6 Nations.Launchbury, Farrell, Tuilagi, Foden are all out for the Tournament....Wood, Lawes are out for now, Barritt, Burrell both have injuries that may keep them out for Wales, Barritt possibly longer, Eastmond is injured too, we hear, Parling has an undisclosed injury.....the list is a long one and to be added to, I am sure

Barritt should not be an issue because he should not even be in the team. Not so, becs?

Hi becs, thanks yes I am watching. Just waiting for confirmation on Geoff Parling and Kyle Eastmond who were both in my team. Hope they start because they were very good value. I have Alun-Wyn Jones and Luther Burrell lines up as possible replacements.

The good thing is you can chop and change your team as often as you like up until the kickoff of the first game.

Absolutely, Ceradyne.....but he is in the Squad, so what can I do ? I am just passing on the details.I also wouldn't have him because, nothing against his incredible commitment, and I do truly admire him for that, he really has bled for the cause !, I just think other players deserve the opportunity to play and we have a lot of talent.
Rooinek...I forgot Ben Morgan ! How could I ? Huge loss ! As for Geoff Parling, he might not make it....we have called up Christian Day to the Camp, as cover. We've run out of Locks ! I think Kruis and Attwood will start ? It seems that we only have two fit Centres.....Twelvetrees and Joseph, at this stage. I know. The former should not be there full stop. Time to give some good youngsters the chance too. Henry Slade should get a go somewhere...he really is a good prospect. Plays 10 and Centre, but ? Burrell has concussion.
Good job you can chop and change if you have English players !! It's a disaster, we might as well give up now

When I became a man I put away childish things!Actually I might have played  oaks but dont watch enough Oz and Nz games and seldom watch NH matches. Its all about the allocation of my most valuable time.

It is not necessary to watch all games - to make predictions does not require time or seeing of all matches.  It is plainly to say which teams you think will win and by how many points.    No use ducking and diving to avoid becoming involved in that simplest of  competitions.

This is brought to the top especially for you.   It got mixed up with Fantasy sport selection.  The two competitions mentioned has nothing to do with fantasy - they are oureand simple predictions of match outcomes - a win by which team and what the winning margin would be, or a draw.   This would aavoid many challenges o this site as to who members think would win specific games.
Please consider seriously joining the competitions in respect of the 6 Nations and the Superrugby series.
