Beenkop, I told you this kid was good. Had an impressive 20 min or so for the Stormers yesterday. Looked like he was perfectly at home at S15 level. Certainly a far better prospect than de Kock Steenkamp.

Made a few good line out steals, one huge one on their line. Put in some good hits and runs. Coetzee should have woken up to him ages ago

sapster its early days but you could be looking at the future lock combination for the Boks. That Alistair hasn't chosen him yet is mind boggling really. Also the bulle game showed that there was no need to play kitshoff into the ground.

Yes Roux looks the real deal and the sooner he is partnered with Etzebeth the better.

I thought Carstens struggled yesterday. Once JC Kritzinger is back for the Stormers, you will have depth there, plus by next season Oliver Kebble should be part of the mix

Apparently the choice was between carstens and Blauw. A few seasons back Blauw was causing waves and looked to be going places.

He is still only about 25 or so if I recall so what has happened to him.

In an article in the Sunday Times Corne krige is severely critical of the WP management. He says the problem are the clubs about 87 of them that run the show for their benefit.

Yes Blaauw was good, not sure what has happened to him. I have never rated Carstens so you would have thought that Blaauw would have been a better option - who knows

I think Coetzee lives off a great bunch of players, especially amongst the forwards, but when it comes to identifying players he seems to miss the boat alot.......Malherbe is clearly better than Harris, but he keeps selecting Harris. Quinn Roux is clearly better than Steenkamp but where has Roux been.

Then we have JP du Plessis not being invested in at all. Instead he plays Habana out of position at 13. Not to mention the fact that he has never called on Baby Bok Pat Howard as an option at 13. This kid was invited to the Bok training camp, why has Coetzee missed him. Next he will be off to the Bulls
