Been while since we've had a DDA thread.

He does something specific for the Boks. But that thing he does isn't really very difficult for anyone to do because it requires very little ball sense and timing. It's literally - catch, run, set up ruck. But he's been doing that one specific and boring thing for the Boks for so long that it's confused everyone into thinking that there aren't a bunch of people that could do that same thing better.

When AE plays at 12 the mandate is always different. It's immediately assumed that it will be a more attacking game. Like AE couldn't play the DDA game and be better at it. Is there anyone here that would rather tackle AE than DDA? I didn't think so. Without looking at the stats I'm gonna bet that AE's meters look better than DDA's at 12 - Chat says it doesn't know.

Eden Park showed that DDA time is over - The Boks were toothless. AE and Willemse won us the RC in Wellington. Sacha made a joke of the first Bargie game but when you subtract his record breaking score from the final score, the Boks drew with the Bargies.
