Let me explain Playin g at 12 has some really top class strength requirements since the defense is normally redhort in the area he runs into.- so a slippery 12 is not really the issue, The number 12 center must be strongly built and capable to draw in defenders and that create space for a 13 center to operate in. If the latter have some space tries are often the result,


Hooker has an athletic built - hence his pace is possible but not neecessariky muscular draw in defenders and create space for the 13 center, wings and full back.


To add to that backline players must sum up developng situations and act instrinctively So they must never be stupid - as thick as a brick.
