...against the First Nations & Pasifika invitational side. 14-14 at half time. Lions look all at sea.

24-19 Lions, 5 minutes left. FNP doing particularly well for a makeshift side, stolen a number of lineouts off the Lions. Big lads that get over the advantage line well.

Pollock wins a critical penalty that could seal the win for the Lions.

But the Lions lose another lineout and FNP can go one last time.

And for some reason FNP kick it away with the clock in the red. Lions win but it wasn't pretty.

The Wallabies should definitely look at some of these forwards - very impressive, if they could get themselves deep in the 22 more often the Lions was in for a bad time. They were hard to stop once they got close, but their general play just lacked the structure to get them there frequently enough. Intercept just before halftime by the replacement flyhalf that should have been a try if he could actually run, but for some reason he just pulled up and passed, which allowed the defense to catch up and stop a try. If they had scored there it might have been a different second half.

Yes I agree the quite Young OZ forwards are good and able to perform well.

Well that was a disaster of a match.

Sorry to see Darcy Graham limp off. I felt he should have been on the tour from the start, so this looks like a double blow for him. He was actually playing quite well too.
