No use trying, Draad. The board Kiwis has done a deep dive on the sevens shortly before the Wellington finals....

The situation is the log is now so skewed it is unbelievable. The rankings are as follows:-
1 South Africa 2 England Point difference 17 points3 Fiji Point difference 21 points4 New Zealand Point difference 29 points
However the log point differences compared to SA are as indicated huge and ir is at his stage a one horse race.
SA will have to do very badly in the remainder of the 2017 series not to win the tournament this year.

Maybe Neill Powell is the answer for the Boks. Winners in one assignment tend to be winners in their next effort. And he played scrumhalf at Super Level, which is more than you could say for our last four coaches. Playing half back has the additional plus of being a tactical position which lends itself to captaincy and coaching.
Finding a way to effectively use our fast, elusive small guys is the key to making the Boks great again....as the Donald might say. Who better to do that than Powell.
But maybe it would just be robbing Peter to pay Fikile, and we do have a good thing going in the sevens and the cricket. Two out of three is not bad, perhaps we shouldn't be greedy. Still 15 man rugby is the mother ship and I find the idea interesting.

Mike, the BB's did well, but this is far from over. Senatla is going to play Super Rugby and there might be injuries and the balance of the team can be effected as result.Cloudy, the AB's are too good at rugby for the 7s team to stay down for long. They'll be back sooner than later.
