If you consider how small o ur backline is and the fact that they perform equally well on defence and attack this should be a lesson to Meyer.

Awesome performance by the boys. Kwagga Smith was excellent and the speed of Senatla is something to behold.
The sooner Senatla becomes a Bok the better

Agreed BB, Senatla should have been given game time in EOYT.
And Definitely Saffex, he's got the spark that I think Habana used to.

The way he gassed that Aussie who is a renowned speedster was amazing.
Love Bronco du Preez would love to see him at 9 in the s15.
Kok is pretty impressive to........he would make an impact in 15s.
Kwagga is small for a flanker but punches above his weight and has great skill. Loved his step

Lets go back a step. Did you see the Blitz Bokke creaming the hapless nz oaks! Hahhahahahaha That was a treat. They were not remotely in the same class. What happened kbbs!!
Senatla is defintely wortha shot but I only hope his defence holds. How about a backline of 'Kolbe, Pollard, Habana, Jan Allende, Senatla and Willie. Now that would be handful to contain. Play Kriel at 6 and watch these guys go.
Kwagga Smith should be a centre. He is a mere 88kg and will never go beyond Super rugby level. We have loose forards to burn in this country but Kwagga looks like being a great prospect at center where we have less resources.

Re skills. We know our schoolboys have them, We know Lions, Cheetahs and WP have them. We know the Blitze Booke have them so where does the problem lie.Bulle have recognised the problem so perhaps a change. Meyer has shown some desire to change but looks to be retrogressing? Sharks well they usually play a balanc ed game so we shall see.
Fact is the senior coaches have been stiffling skills and creativity. We had Bulle and Stormers terribly negative. Boks as well.

The problem lies in th main with two issues, namely -
* the se;lection of players based on size - not competence and ball sense; and
* the coaching of players to forget about ball sense and play a stereotyped game.
We have had for years the situation where ball skills and ball sense has been drilledout of players by our coaches. Those players who have it are generally demora;lized since they are not selected.
Then we have the overweight and woversized backline players who gets prefrence - but who have sub-par ball skills and no ball sense.
I am always in favour of backline players with ball skills and an ability to read games and take decisions. Those who ruin staright at the first defender - are players with no idea about the game.
Physicality without ball skills and sense is an abomination.

Cheers Hawka, it's a shame we can't transfer these skills to the 15 man game like you boys can.

The Blitzbokke did us proud and if they can hold onto some of the players until the olympics would mean that we are heading in the right direction.
How well did they do on defense, I was speechless how the managed to scramble and keep a player off the ground when he clearly crossed the try line preventing them from touching down.
That shows great commitment that even when you are ahead not to give up on defense and I think that type of attitude meant that they were the team of the comp.
Sometimes teams just want to score and think that they can let a few go. I wish the boks defended and attacked the way the blitzbokke did.
NZ 15's are definitely playing with that level of commitment.

Brycy
It seems as of the AB 7's lose theiir nerve when playing against the Blitzbokke. They have lost more than 80% of the games they played against the Blizbokke since 2012 and they have been beaten by wide point differences as well - the second widest being the 28-0 loss in the latest game.
I think there is a need for some team changes in the AB 7's. They do not have the right combination and this year their start in the competition has been way below par. After two series in the compition - they only have 28 points - as against the 39 of Fiji and 37 of SA. Hard to recover from there.

Brycie, you seem to be pushing a racial agenda down the necks of a country that had it's fill of racial BS. Why???Grow a backbone and say what's really on your mind.
