My cup runneth over. What an amazing team this BB team is.....the conditions were filthy, passes that went 25 metres forward were called good as long as they were back out of the hand. Intensity is what distinguishes the BBs. Can't say I can pinpoint why NZ lost....mostly discipline I suppose. But even setting that aside they were no better than the USA. Powell upset about Fiji taking out the player on the kickoff. They are always physical, sometimes a bit more.

The top 4 positions on the log is now making clear the dominance of SA:-
SA        -    107Fiji        -     83England -    78NZ        -     71
That means that SA got  107 points from a possible 110 points after 5 games.   Looks like it would be impossible for the other teams to catch up on such a huge league.   SA only needs to be in the semis in the other 5 tournaments nd they will be the champs this year.
Congrats to the guys.

Unfortunately the time of the games made it difficult to watch, but by all accounts our boys were deserved winners.
Mike, it just takes one flop tournament where the BB's don't make it into the playoffs and Fiji wins, and it is game on for the overall title again. But hell, so far so good!

It does not necessarily works like that.   SA would have to be out of the top 8 teams to not score enough points and that is very unlikely to happen.    One match produce a total of 22 points - even if SA is absent from one tournament Fiji cannot make up the deficit in one  tournament.  .

And that's sans Se natla.
Powell upset about Fiji taking out the player on the kickoff.
Filthy tackle brought on by frustration and deserved a red.

One of the most deliberate fouls I have seen.....that guy should be gone for the rest of the tournament. Part of the reason the bbs are beating these guys is, for all their so called flair, the bbs are just faster man for man.

I think a lot of the success is owed to Neil Powell who has meld them into a well coordinated unit.

I watched a few highlights of the BB games. Why is there so little hype about how well these guys are playing? It amazes me! This format of rugby is taking the game to countries far and wide, and is probably the best potential marketing tool available for rugby. yet somehow in South Africa 7's barely gets a mention. Even when our guys are dominating. Very disappointing from the powers that be. Both local and international. Even on this forum there is just about no interest. I find it all somewhat shocking!

The thing I don't get is how skilled, organized and quick they are, coupled to that is their consistency under pressur e. But here's the slowdown, they come from the same patch as the fifteen a side players....where does it go pear-shaped?
