Solid win by Bulle. One hopes they can build on this

Mallet was very complimentary of Kriel.

Trevor Nyankane is man of the match and a deserved one. Most tackles, turnovers and decent scrumming.Jessie kriel was a standout. Van Zyl was good and Pollard solid.Still Bulle needs to get moving

The Bulls were as per normal playing thoughtless rugby.   Five meters out a penalty after the Jaguares lost a key player after a yellow card and the decision is to go for a penalty kick at goal.   That would never happen with a thinking team.    Is typical of the clueless and the answer Is clear.  Thinking in absolute absence.

Piet van Zyl had an excellent game. He made the difference.

He was a class act at the Cheetahs and it looks as if he's finding his feet at the Bulls.

High time.

He should be given the starting 9 jersey and left to settle.

I am still not convinced about Pollard - he had a very average game with problems insofar as decision-making is concerned.   But Strauss as captain is worse - so one has to take it from there.
That kick after the Kriel Line break was dismal and the kicking at goal after yellow carding of a key Jaguares player was worse.

I'm not sure what's going on with Pollard but whatever it is it's not helping.

Such a talent ... well once upon a time any way.

Some promising players in the under-age group grows sour - look at Pollard and Cruden for instance.
