Blues beat Highlanders 33 to 31

Blues played well and deserved the win. Landers came back to make it close but the Blues held on to win.  Are the Blues back? They certainly looked better today than they did for most of last year. Congrats to the Blues!

 I was one of a minority that predicted a win by the Blues against the Highlanders and has been stating that I like the Blues under their new coach.   remember my previous posts on the Blues in the relevant regard.
This is not a good start for the Highlanders and there is one thing that opposing teams must avoid at all costs and that is to kick balls at Ben Smith - he will make you suffer badly.
I had only one player (Fekitoa) in my Foxsport squad so am badly down at this stage.
My attention is fixed on the next game where I have three players in the squad - one of which is my captain.  So lets hope for something better.  I predicted that the Hurrricanes will beat the Brumbies by a substantial margin though.
