Sergeal Pietersen has literally no defence. He is a VERY BIG NO!!!!!!!!!!!Not settled on the loosehead or hooker spot. Two lions hookers doing very well.Beast playing wella nd ditto Kitshoff.I might just go for the other Du Plessis at 8.I seriously doubt Kolisi is international quality. Rather have a guy like the very hardworking Labuschangne. He contributes far more in a game.

Saffex, not sure if you put that team up before the Stompies humiliating tie with the Sunwolves at a neutral venue, but please note that you actually have 3 of the Hapless Stompies in your team.

I can understand including Pieter-Steph who was the only Stompie player who showed any guts against the Sunwolves but surely he's the one and only Stompie who should make the extended Bok squad let alone the starting XV.

For the rest, not sure how the likes of Bismarck du Plessis, Jacques du Plessis and Francois Hougaard can be considered "form" players but I think it's high time we forget about these chicken-runners and only select players from local Super Rugby and Currie Cup franchises.

Oh and on form, RG Snyman is well ahead of Lood de Jager in the pecking order . . . just as Vincent Koch has been in much better form than any of the tightheads you mention.

How many points separate the wee guppies and the mighty Stormers rooitwitterbug!
Yet this halfwit talks of the hapless stompies!!! Bwahhahahahahahaha why does ou rooitwitterbug like to make an ass of himself repeatedly!!

Lood De jager has indeed looked poor thus far. Will he recoveer his great form of 2015 is the question.Mostert is a bit on the small size for a lock at 112 kg but man is there harder worker!!!
Koch has t oprove he can tkae on the best looseheads. He does well at times and then there are problems. Its not yet clear if thsi is due to his not being up to it or illegal scrumming. What is certain is that Kock needs to tried at loosehead. This needs to be tried out as his speed around the park is probably the best of any SA prop. The scrumming demands on aloosehead are not uite as severe as ona  tighthead. So it may suit him and allow him to use that pace more.

Once again the man's suffering with head up ass syndrome.
Clueless as ever ...
How many super rugby matches has HouGat played this season, Dave?
While your at it please explain what Nyakane has done more so than Marais and Dylan Smith to warrant the Bok no 1 jumper?
Beandip ... it seems you've contracted Dave's affliction. You honestly wanna play a tighthead out of position when we have 3 powerhouses in Du Toit, Smith and Marais??
What's the matter with you.

Baboon-ou , I posted this before the tournament even kicked off and I posted this after the Sharks gave their Bunnies yet another beating at Newlands.

Here's an extract from the second link . . .

"The Hapless Stompies may well finish the season above the Sharks on the final table because they've been given the soft draw . . . but there's no more question who is the better team!"

I sometimes forget just how stupid you are but I would guess not even a blithering idiot like you seriously believes that the Aussie sides are superior to the Kiwi sides or that the Sunwolves are stronger than the Jaguares . . . or have I underestimated the depth of your stupidity again, Baboon-ou?

Waht are this oak torking about?

LMAO!

CC wise up man your dismal undertanding is an embarassment.I am suggesting an experiment. Looking at Koch his best position may well be loosehead. It would be great to have him in the Bok side if his scrumming was good enough and where his pace can be used. He may find it easier on the loosehead.
Rooitwitterbug, you play one decent game all season and you think the wee guppies are world beaters. Get a grip please rooitwitterbug!!!!! The given the fact the Stormers are ahead of the Sharks on points suggests strongly they are not as hapless as you are proposing.
Beeno as usual setting wee cc and the hapless hatter rooitit right!  What a turncpoat this hapless oak is! Haha hahahahahahahahaha

Rooi.....come now man......one crap performance by the Stormers does not define them.
Malherbe has been good all season as has Koch as you point out. Kebble has been good to.....as has Kolisi and Carr.....Elstadt has been good, Eben was huge prior to injury......the backs have struggled though.....no clout in the midfield.....where de Jongh has been a non entity and Kotze poor. Kolbe has failed to impress as we know he can. Poor de Allende has been off since his return.....du Plessis a good find, Groom has been good.....I've wanted more from v/Wyk, Zas looks useful
PSDT stands tall
I have no issue with selecting the likes of Hougaard, Bismark, du Plessis etc if they are the best in their positions......plying their trade up here.....who can blame them given the financial rewards.....and who can blame the likes of du Plessis and Willemse for leaving the Bulls when so much wasted investment was shown in 38 year old Matfield.
Hougaard for Worcester has been better than the SA 9's at home bar Faf
RG Snyman has been better than Lood.....who has been solid in a struggling Cheetahs side.
I'm sticking with my form side

CC....Hougaard has played the whole season up here and been on fire....so much so he was player of the month up here playing for Worcester.
Nyakane is far, far better than Smith of Marais.....solid as they come in the scrums and adds value in general play.....something you dont see from Smith and Marais
Smith is far too small for test rugby and has been exposed against the big Kiwi sides
Marais had a good game or two in the scrums early in the season but has faded to nothing since
Trevor is twice the player these two are.......give me Kebble over those two......Thomas du Toit is also better but only just back from injury.
The real deal at loosehead is of course Kitshoff

Beandip ... we have a shortage of class tightheads currently.
Koch is one of the better prospect there ... with Malherbe, Redelinghuys, and Dreier ...
If you seriously want to experiment with him at loosehead then by all means do so ... but at club level only ... the test arena is not suited to training anyone ...
Capisci ... ??
Dave ... Kitshoff is as average as they come. We have no need of the average. We are looking for top of the line class acts and that's where Smith, Marais and Du Toit come in.
Nyakane is a better prop than Kitshoff and we all know that he's way down the pecking order when it comes to talented prospects. He'll probably be selected but only cause he has the required skin colour.
Also ... throwing the size card into the mix is something I didn't expected from you ... especially with the small CJ Stander doing so well in Ireland. Seems it's a card you use when it suits your argument.
Regarding HouGat ... maybe the slower northern grounds are better suited to his blundering ways ... we all saw how he struggled here on the faster grounds without a kicking game and a shoddy two bounce pass ... I would suggest the chump remain up north ... we have no need of him here.

We don't need Koch at loosehead. At tighthead he will be vulnerable against guys like Ayerza.

" ... but at club level only ... the test arena is not suited to training anyone ... "
One hundred percent correct and that has been so for many years. It is time that everybody starts to understand this. A national coach has to make do with what is available from the "feeder teams". A national coach' main job should be to tweak certain areas and install a team ethos, way of play, etc.
The national team is not the place for experimentation. Never has been. Never should be. It is not the place to give this, that and the other a run in this, that and the other position. A player should be in the squad because he has certain skills and attributes in certain positions/roles. He should not be in the squad to learn/pick up new skills in different roles/positions.

Bwhahahahaha I never suggested experimenting with Koch at loosehead at international level. Get a grip dopes!Move Koch to loose head and I believe he would do better - its worth a shot. Just like Kolbe would be better at 9 and just like Pierre Spies should not have bulked up and should have stayed on the wing. A series of blunders. Cant find a place anywhere for wee matfield as he floped as a lock and when tried at flank he flopped there as well. A serial flop - Hahhaahhahahahaha
Snapster you must be freakin blind. Sergeal Pietersen 's defence is pathetic so dont compare him to those other guys. Look at what Sergeal actually does. He is hopless and must not come near a Bok side.
You also are again showing your ignorance re Carr and Kolisi. The Stormers have been slated regarding their loosies. Failure to perform at the break down etc. I posted an article on the matter. They both are not much over the 100 kg mark and lack the pace one would hope for. If you are going to play a small loosie he must be fast and rugged like Kriel. Deon Fourie was an exmaple of what a good small loose is! What shame he never got a shot.

Exactly Ceradyne ... glad you agree.
We've seen time and time again how players flop playing elsewhere at test level ... and that hurts us in the end.
What really drives me insane is when the stupid coach persists with the same failed selection match after match. It's as if he never noticed how uncomfortable the player was.
I wonder how many class players have been lost to us because of stupid selections.
What would JJ have managed on the wing? He was dynamite for the Stormers there.
Once in while you'll will find someone who's a natural playing elsewhere. It takes a keen eye to spot that talent. Meyer thought he had it ... sadly he was mistaken.
It cost us big time.

@CC."What would JJ have managed on the wing? He was dynamite for the Stormers there."
Correct again. Problem is that Ludeke, and do not forget Slaptjips, persisted in playing him on the wing. In this instance, where he has been proven on the wing in the past, I think that he could have been played there by HM.
There was a similar situation, back in the day, when the Bulls played Jaco vd Westhuizen at 10 and Jake wanted him at 15, or visa versa.
That is why there should be some kind of cohesion between the national coach and the rest of the coaches but, for some reason, the SA coaches are just to fecking short sighted to get that far. If there was that harmony between the national coach and the franchise/provincial coaches there would not have been a need for this central contract BS. In SA, though, it seems to be a power game between the national coaches and the rest. The sad reality is that the central contracts do not work either because both of the sets of coaches have their own targets and goals and they would not see the sun shine over anybody else. The end result s that our rugby is going for a ball of crap and nobody wins.
I have said many times that our whole SA rugby set-up is a sick mess from grass roots level right up to the national team, SARU and most of all govt/ The fact that we can even still remain in touch with the top dogs, in a way, is actually quite unbel ievable.
