At the end there we didn't really know what to do with the ball. Esterhuizen forced into touch.

Bongi with the mic in his ear. Rassie is probably shouting "yellow light, yellow light" into it.

Just looking at that passage, if the Boks develop an offload game we're going to score much easier .

Another retarded referee. Pierce was actually trying to send Eben off for that but Mapimpi has sustained a concussion for an event which apparently only a penalty. My word

Yes, Jessica scored a try. He's now cemented his place at 13 for at least another 4 years.

Libbok and Willie seemed a bit confused about their defensive roles out wide there.

Kwagga is just so damn good. He had to be one of the best in the world. Always makes things happen. His turn over, his break, and a try for the Boks 90m up the pitch.

Boks played well as did Tonga. It was very physical.
No one really had a bad game except Vermeulen, who seemed off the pace.
The throw-ins of Van Staden were not great, but Deon Fourie threw well.

The rolling maul was not that great, but the Tongans also appeared to defend it well.
Pollard's kicking was 100%, as was Mannie's.

Canan Moodie had a very good game, and Esterhuizen while a bit predictable proved he is the strongest centre in world rugby.
The way he stands tall in the tackle to do offloads is a bit like Israel Folau.

Eztebeth was a physical workhorse, surprised he played the whole game.

Esterhuizen leading the meters run for the Boks at 54, and it wasn't easy ones .

Hmm, we conceded the most tries in this game. Tonga finally showed up the type of players they have, but just shows you how strong Ox is when weighing in at 115 Kg Vs a 145kg monster. I thought we would be weaker with Fourie at 2 but the boys did well.

Orie did well in the Line out.

Agree on Vermeulen.

Thought our backline was a bit disjointed and Willie had another mix bag performance.

Reincach was eratic at the breakdown

Hendrikse control the base way better.

Moodie looked really good and still chewed up meters out wide. He should be on the wing if not 13. Kriel killed all momentum yet again. He seems to rigid and doesnt have movement to get around players.

Esterhuizen start getting better in the 2nd half.

Thought Pollard did really well and probably will start in the quarters.

Willie should be dropped from the boks.

Forward passes, poor defence etc. Does more harm than good in my book.

Lol anyone that watched that and still rates DDA above AE must be related to Damien. Jessie had some moments...but made some clangers again. That intercept he chucked and the missed tackle that gifted Tonga about 60m. He did track back to defend though...but still he got totally done and almost handed them a runaway try. Williams does need to calm down. That silly pass he tried which resulted in the Tongan try is a sign that he still needs to mature a touch. Why on earth was Eben on for 80??? We're all on the same page as to the fact that he's probably our most important player, right? As usual, there are some that are just a cut above the rest...Kwagga being one that never fails to amaze with his contributions. Lol He's only about fifteen times better than Siya.

I agree. Willie has had his run. A good player and great servant for the Boks but after this WC it's time for the new guy to take over full time. Willemse is the new kid and a straight-up superstar. The kind Willie threatened to become but never really did.

Esterhuizen had a good game but it was mostly strength direct stuff He did nothing to dislodge DA from the starting spot Stupid call moving Moodie to wing they should have left him at 13 to give him game time there and played Kriel on the wing We know what Kriel has to offer at 13 so what was the point?
