Well no doubt Frans missed that tackle.....but it was negated by two brilliant tackles by Rossouw and Matfield. The man who brought down Tait was Matfield who tracked back 35 metres matching his pace and bringing him down when a try was certain. Well done Victor one of the best tackles by a tight forward in the history of the WC.

Nope Monster, I think we tend to make villains of our veterans, before the new recruits have even demonstrated they are test match players. The sad demise of our current team while still great players like Frans and Bismarck are available being a case in point.
So I act as a check and balance.

Matfield moonlighting in the backline ultimately did make the tackle - that is the reason for Mozart's admiration of Matfield -as a lock he was not. He never did anything in the engine room and his claim to fame is basically only line-0out jumping. He was so light in weight that it was easy to lift him in jumps. Only Mozart pretended not to have seen that missed tackle by Steyn - so what else is new? The man is hilarious and untruthful as well.

A check and balance?
Haaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaaa!!
Keep telling yourself that, old man.
I'm sure they'll humour you whenever you speak of your important role, in your desperately needed home ... that an up your dosage ... with words of "there, there ... just calm yourself ... try to get some sleep."
Poor dear!!
