Kriel is our best 13. Am a possibility at 12. Allende had a strong game. People knocking him are Mamparas. Moodie is a player to consider. Put him in for Arendse.

Bull shit he is our best 13!! Get your head read…. Kriel is good in defence and DDA in being a extra loose forward…that’s all they have….they excel with a Stampkar gameplan.

Boks non try the difference, bit of luck and we would have pinched it.

Roll on round two

Giving away a yellow, when a maul try is inevitable is a real killer.

NZ were their own worst enemy. Those incessant little stab kicks over the top, especially in the last few minutes when they needed to control possession. 10 points up but they had no one who could control the game for them. DMac is not the cool head you need then.

Congrats to the Boks. The ABs are improving, the game could have gone either way and we showed we can compete and even do well in the forward battle. Next week should be another good game.

I actually felt like the All Blacks had the upper hand for most of the game. The Boks struggled to put the ball down the backline to get the wings into the game, without relying on chip kicks or grubbers into space.

Delande is a dead man walking....

Sasha Fienberg is arguably the most important person on the team sheet announcement.
It is nice to have an allrounder at 10 that can mix and match based on the game.
He looks more like an All Black flyhalf, than a Bok one (If you exclude Andrew Mehrtens).

In the third quarter I though the Boks were not going to be able to mount a comeback, but Fienberg kept the pressure on running back at them.

Just has to ensure that he converts kicks in front of the posts and perfects the drop kick would be great as well.

But must admit that he is a great addition at #10 for the Boks.

Watching it again that Bongi try looks very much forward….should not have been a try. The All Blacks Dominated that game from the beginning and actually hard to believe they lost that one to be honest…also agree with D Mac not controlling that lead well..Compared to a Mounga or a Dan Carter. Credit to the Boks for hanging in there and pulling it thru….on more than one occasion it’s clear that the good work of SFM is absolutely butchered by Dud and also Robot Jessica. We will never I mean never have any kind of progress in the Backline with our present midfield…the AB with there slick passes, attacking lines they run, is just so much more fluid. Honestly Rassie needs to make those hard calls and try a new midfield for a extended time, as soon as Fucking possible! What a bloody waste/ Disgrace of our dangerous Runners .

The factsi whaat is written aboveis argely BS.   Let me expain the Sprin gb oks scored ONE Maul try - and tw from lose play.   The moment the ball carie leaves the maul - he maul ended.  It happened in the case of the Mbonambi try and in the case of the Williams try =- much more obvious iro the Williams try though.

In the abcklne there were some por passes made = the one by De Allende let to an intercpt try being scored.   Tere were two other tries given away by poor defense.  In the case of De Allend he compnen sated or his one mistake on the day by making two turnover possession turnmovers for te Springboks at breakdowns - whcih is totaslly ignored by the site commentators. on of the turnovers resuted ultimately to the Williams try.

The fact is that what we go is a victory and winning of the Rugby Championship this year.

*    The Spinboks will beat Argentina in the upcomng tests and is likely to beat the AB's in the second test anyway.   Even if they lose the latter  - they would stil end up with potentially 22 points at the minimum;.

*     The AB's potentially could get ar most 15 pints from their remaining test s putting them at 20 points.  from their remining 3 tests.

Both those tries were a direct result of the maul disintegrating the defensive structures ou Maaik, even if they weren't technically maul tries.

It's actually been mentioned a few times now. I would have mentioned the first one in the live comments but I had trouble guessing my password to log in on the phone since I'm usually on PC, so wasn't able to comment on the first part of the game.

on of the turnovers resuted ultimately to the Williams try.

The two turnovers were in the first half, Williams scored at the death. But will check it out.

The Bongi score was never a try. These guys have all the tech and still get these decisions wrong. When they make errors with basic calls like that it brings all their adjudicating into question. If that was given to the opposition I'd be complaining like mad. I'm sure the Kiwis must be pissed. It turns out it was a no score that saved DDA from costing us the game. You look at the skill level of the other backs and DDA sticks out like sore thumb. The rest all look like they can think, make decisions and execute...at pace. DDA looks lethargic, voltage deficient, zero explosiveness and like the best way to make the backs look dangerous is to cut him out of moves. And it does have to be that way. We have so many players that could be there instead. It's actually a real shame.

I agree that shouldn't have been a try, but weve been on the receiving end of so many match deciding poor calls, I don't mind that much.

Shocking that the match TV ref did not call it.

It is missed calls like this case that is bad for the game and just a prime example of poor oversight by officials assigned to monitor the game.

If this was an AB's try everyone on this site would be posting their comments and castigating the officials but because it was a Springbok try most are prepared to accept the try.

Very Sporting indeed.
